I have heard of people making tons of cash buying Brand new Apple products such as iPhone and iPad at full price from apple and selling them to make a profit. How is this possible? Who are they selling to? Who is willing to pay more for a product than its retail price? Or have I just been Misled?

Sometimes you can get lucky in the first few weeks of release when it's harder to get and make an exorbitant amount.

To klaxxon still til this day I haven't found that supplier but I do have a supplier that sell orignal iPhone 4 which includes shipping fee and drop shopping fee but only within the US all together for $830.00 for 32GB unlocked. It's pricy but it's worth it and definitely getting the real thing so I rather pay more than pay less for garbage.
