Making money guide with adult website

Hi guys,

I made this to help you with promoting adult websites. I really think that is not so hard if you have the right resources. I?ll tell you exactly how I did it (what, how and where I promoted my content). I?ve created a pdf file to be easier for you to take the information. Excuse my English hope you?ll understand everything I?ve written here.

Please don't criticize and help with more information to do this better.

First of all you need a website if you want to do serious things. You can also use a tumblr , blogger or other platforms but in my opinion is better to have one of your own because is like a business, you evolve and you have control. The main issue with other platforms is that you can develop something nice and then they can hit you very hard. And also on your own domain you can install any script or theme you want, customized or not.
So you need to buy a domain (1yr/2yr or more). I use Name.com services but you can search for others, it?s your choice. After that you need somewhere to host the website. Always check with the web host first to make sure they allow adult websites, don?t forget to ask this before you give any money.
I can help you with some examples but how I told you before, it?s your choice.

Now let?s start with the beginning. You have a website, you installed a cute theme, maybe is a video site or a picture one, doesn?t care.

Content
Important thing is that you need to upload good stuff, and when I?m telling you good I mean you need to look for some breath taking content over the internet, without watermarks, good quality, I prefer softcore or just sexy content. If you have your own content is a gold mine.
At the beginning post content as much as you can till you start promoting and then just be active every day posting at different hours , that for the users to see that is activity on the site and they will come back for sure.
It?s better to customize the name of the pictures. The name must be related with your website name and tags. If description of the post is available you must edit it and put as much relevant information as you can because this will help your website to evolve.
The content must be very well arranged on your website, so not too many pictures putted all over the page, try to keep a good management. It?s very important how your content is seen by the users and how hard it will take them to access it. The idea is to be as simple as you can. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
Look over internet for websites that have new content or content that is not so well promoted and take it and post it. I prefer amateur content because is very easy to ?sell? to say so. A good picture is really worth more than a thousand words and it will take you on top. Try to search and post just the pictures you really like, the ones that give you a good feeling. When you share such of pictures it?s easy to get views and maybe more than that. Try to learn how to ?sell? your website and content.

1. Reddit is my favorite because it has such a potential

You just register for an account and after that try to submit some posts till you pass the posting limit from Reddit, after that you can post more. The idea is that never post from the same source and on the same channel. I?ll give you the information about what channels I?m using and you?ll have a good start.

You need to ?+friend? with which channel you want, it?s just a click distance and then you?ll have all of them in favorites (in the right side of your page). After this you can post your own, but try not to force your luck, do not submit more posts consecutively from the same website in the same channel.

1. Fuddit

It?s like Reddit but not so good developed. It?s just for adult content and if you know how to work with Reddit it?s gone to be to work with this one also.

1. Tumblr

It?s very powerful and viral. You just need to make an account and after that a lot of blogs on which you?ll promote your money website. And another good thing about tumblr is that you can make money also from them . Not to forget that for every blog you need to go in settings and check ?Not safe for work (NSFW)? . When you submit a post you need to complete all the fields there, Name, Description, Tags, Link (very important) ? one is for the content source and the other is for clicking-through the picture, you can modify even the URL (Set a custom post URL).

1. StumbleUpon

It?s very easy to use and also a very good way to bring a lot of traffic on your website. Just make an account and start to like. Click Stumble and like also from other users but between them put one of your own by entering your profile and click on ?Add a Page?. You have the opportunity to bring a ton of traffic on your website.

1. Twitter

Everyone knows how Twitter works, so just do it for adult website also. Is no limit from Twitter side. Create an account and make it just for adult content. Try not to spam and keep your tweets as clean as possible. Do not submit websites with pop under or with low quality content. Try to choose best posts that you have, to make a good impression. And the tip is that you need to be active and maybe write a little description of the picture, not too much but something that can make the users interested in your post, sometimes a little lie is also good in business J.

1. Youtube

Youtube will take some time till you can promote but it?s worth it. Make a video (slideshow) with pictures (just sexy, non-adult) from your site or not. Important thing is that you need to put watermark with your website and in the description also some information. Repeat this process as much as you can.

1. Gallery-Dump

Here you can create 3 galleries per day (minimum 10 pictures in the gallery), Code (HTML or BBCode). So this way you can put your links. Submit as many pictures as you can and it?ll be fine.

1. Pinporn

It?s Pinterest?s adult clone to say so. It is interesting to work with. It can give you some good traffic. Just register and start creating boards and pins. Also like others posts and try to maintain a good relation between you and them.

1. Leenks

It?s very nice and easy to use, just Submit link and that is it.

1. Yahoo Groups

Here you need to search by yourself groups where adult content is submitted and try to make some friends there, with whom to change links.

Start link trading with Linkspun massive list of websites and webmasters that are looking for link trades. Browse hundreds of categories and find relevant sites to trade with. Linkspun spider will take over and ensure all links are kept live and no 'cheating' techniques or methods have been used.

This website is very important. From here you?ll get money but also a lot of traffic. After you register you need to create the ads and also through some widgets you?ll make traffic exchange with other users from Plugrush?s network. They are very serious and you can do great job with them.

Some general Information
Try not to lose control of your content, remember, just good stuff. Is very important to do that and you?ll succeed.
Not to forget to change the name of the picture/video and the description with your own information.
Tag every post (picture, video, text ?).
Connect your website with any Social Network but keep in mind that you need to create new accounts for every network, with adult content. This is what I?ve done because I don?t think is good to use your personal account, but you can do whatever you want.
Try not to put pop under on your website because the users will lose interest. It?s very important how you manage the content on the website. Try not to put so many advertisements on the first page.
I know that is not so easy and the way is so long, but believe me if you?ll do it right you?ll have benefits.
Try to read as much as you can over the internet, about the things that changes, the new websites around, try to be there when is happening.
Try to be serious making this and you?ll have a great start.

Where do you find your content? Do you just pull it from popular sites you find / google images / torrents? If so, has anyone complained/penalized you for copyrighted pix or content?

First off thank you for this great information. With trading links on linkspun, what is the process for choosing potential trades? Do you trade with people with similar amount of content, pr and in/out links? Or is it possible for a new blog to trade with the high ranking traffic sites?

I ran an adult site back in 2003 or so and it took the hell off. Unfortunately I was young and stupid and had no idea how to monetize it. Then I got a job at a reputable place and took it down so as to not be associated with it since I used my name to register it all. It was like a youtube but allowed users to upload their own stuff. People are freaks. Give them a chance to let their freak flag fly and they will take it. Was a blast. I would think it would be hard these days with so much competition in the market for porn. Might be a good idea to buy a domain name and create a bunch of uber niche sites as subdomains. That may work.

Thanks for the share. I use most of these methods already but have some issues with stumbleupon lately. I have almost 100 followers but traffic just stopper. I don't know why, I like other websites and I also stumble them daily (not liking them all). You mention creating pages in stumbleupon, can you share what impact this has on the traffic?

And I want to say something about reddit. There are very few subreddits that allow links from websites. Most adult subreddits require direct image links by imgur. I have some traffic from there but my domains are constantly banned so I create new websites just for reddit cuz traffic is good. But you should know that even following the rules and posting only 10% of your own content your domain will be blocked soon. Your username will remain active, you won't be banned, this is not shadow ban, just the domain is out of the game and you need another account with a new domain and you should start posting links when you have at least 1000 karma.
