Depends on your budget to be honest. But as an investment I would purchase the following:
-Squat rack (You can do alot of compound excersizes using this)
    -Adjustable Bench seat (Incline/Flat etc)
-Dumbells (Ranging from light to heavy ~80 for a starter)
-Some sort of cardio machine (eg Bike/treadmill)

My recomendation is to sign up to a local gym and set up your own home gym. Trust me, you will find yourself looking like the hulk in a month.

You will go to your local gym and be forced to work out because you are away from home and then when you are home you can work out whenever you have the urge. I have it set up like this and the results are amazing.

Sent you a message on Skype. I have a membership at a super sport gym,and depending on your goals, it's really not necessary to go to a gym. Even most supplements is a waist of time and money.

Ignore Logician, he has no clue what he is on about haha.
It's not necessary to go to a gym? Depending on what goals? If you wanna look average sure, but if you want to compete you have to go gym for a decade. hahaha.

    Anyway.

Get a barbell, around 500lbs worth of plates, get a Squat/Dead/Bench rack, (1rack for all of them), get 1 weight lifting bench that is adjustable. If you want get some dumbbells too.
Thats all you need. Also try to get a pull up bar, your squat/dead/bench rack might come with one.

im a part time trainer with 7% body fat..i been working out for years...its funny that you can compare IM with working out...the most important thing you must do is be consistent in the process..people worry too much about equipment and the magical method..any active movements is a workout..now just like IM you have to know what your goals are...id say if your trying to build muscle (mass) you need a bench like you have..barbell, dumb bells...but like someone above said..if you just want to stay in shape..you just need a pullup bar..and you can basically do everything body weight exercises..pushups, jump squats, etc..you can even use dumbbells and do circuit training exercises..(super sets)...but dont focus on the actually equipment..its about being consistent in doing something...if you cant get to the gym to do 5 miles <example..you can go outside your house and run around the block a couple times...make sure your gym room doesnt look anything like your house...because your house is your comfort zone..and a issue i see with people who workout at home is once the exercises get too hard..they tend to relax..just give up watch tv etc..make the environment look and feel like a gym.where you cant leave until you complete the task

Nothing you can't do with the following:

Bench that will go flat, decline and incline.

A rack for squats and to hold the bar for the bench press.

    Dumbells - 5Lb to 100Lb

I've been a lot bigger than that and a little leaner. Getting lean is rough for me, however, I have achieved it but maintaining it is hell.

If you're being honest, you've got an impressive physique friend (minus shedding some water/fat).
My obstacle is the opposite haha.

    Thanks man!

If you want to make the most out of every meal and training session I'd highly recommend this book. It helped me pile on mass very fast.

Save the money and go to your local gym. It's a great place to socialize and see some big butts doing squats.

I built a gym in my house 15 years ago and it was never used by anyone, cuz half the fun of a gym is the butts doing squats.

I'd just start with ya basics which it sounds like you already have -
    bench press with bar
    dumbbell set
    curl bar
    weights

You can do a lot with just that right there ^

Here is my personal set up -

The most important thing is a squat rack and a bench!

The rest are just dumbbels and a bar!

I've been going to the gym on and off for 3-4 years and I've never socialized there. If you are serious about your body, you're there to train, not to chit chat about miley cyrus getting banged while being high on meth.
