Making 1 million dollars

1. Become a great developer
2. Get remote job that pays 120K/year somewhere in the USA
3. Live somewhere really cheap, or with a parent
4. Save up for 10 years
5. ???
6. Profit
I'm Doing almost same, Except I'm not Developer, not Getting 120k/Year Nor I'll be Millionaire in 10 years.
My Monthly expense is less than $50.

1. Selling subscribtion based services (software)
2. Launching digital products. Getting super affiliates to promote them.
3. Developing websites and selling in 1-2 years them for 24*monthly profit. Use profit for reinvesting in more sites. Rinse and repeat

Anything I say is pointless because I don't have a million dollars. However, I don't think there is one set way to achieve that goal. Different people follow different paths to become millionaires. Exactly following someone else's footsteps also does not guarantee success. If someone tried to mimic what Bill Gates did a few decades back I don't think he or she would achieve the same success. Mainly because that was in a different time with different opportunities and challenges.

Thanks for you thoughts.
So, are there any millionaires here ? No joke.

The kind of people who brag about having money are generally not the people who actually have money. Case in point, look at the BHW members who have wads of cash in their avatars, yet constantly beg for zero-investment methods.

Instead of focusing on numbers, focus on goals, and adjust your living situation to achieve those goals. For example, instead of living paycheck-to-paycheck in the middle of the city, you can add a ~30 minute commute and find an apartment for a third of the cost.

This thread sounds ambitious, and interesting. Seeing a title like this, I just have to watch it for the answers.

why would i lower my costs if i can live good and better in the city? if you are trying to make money by living poor you allready failed.

I do not consider myself a failure for turning down a $3k/mo rodent-ridden water-damaged slum in favor of a newly built 4-bedroom home with a 2-bay garage, within commuting distance of four major cities, but I guess we just have different priorities in life.

Also, the whole point of internet marketing is that you don't need to work a 9-5, so if your choice of housing dictates your income, perhaps you should put some more effort into your IM projects.

Really these are great information to make more money. And the tips are very useful to improve the methods.
