Make you tube videos like brightside

I'd like to make videos like but I don't know how I find royalty-free footage (videos & images ). I tried many sites but all good footage needs to be purchased separately not even within the premium subscription.
I even posted a gig on Fiverr and people don't seem to understand what I want and just want the job, and I'm afraid to hire someone then can't find any good footage!

Not really related to your question but maybe look into Content Samurai.
It is a software that generates explainer videos with royalty-free images (and videos I think)
It is quite expensive at 47 dollars but they have a free trial of one week.
Maybe try it out?

Brightside has a full team of video creators so even though those video's are simplistic, they are not that easy to create.

for footage you can just simply type Free Stock videos on google... and also if you can you can get videoblock type subscription from group purchase (but I can't tell you the source because its not allowed here) and make the video either on Filmora or Lumen5 .com .. its super easy to make .. because its just slideshow type presentation ... no graphic or editing went into it...

content samurai is good but I will have the same problem of finding good footage, its footage is really limited

Yes that is true. I just think it is a solid software to create simple vids quickly.
Maybe you can upload the stock videos to content samurai? I haven't tested it out yet.
 
Search your query on youtube and you will get the place from where you have to get the kind of footage that you need.
 
search on google free stock footage / free video footage also you will find sites with music you can use ..
make sure to read license terms.. some have creative commons 0 that you can use even for commercial purposes
but you cant monetize those videos with adsense just grow your subscribers and views and then use affiliate programs
