is it possible?? what are some good items to look for to snag for cheap and make a killing on ebay...

I love Yard Sales. It took me a good two years to learn and experience what things will sell good on eBay, and what things are great to purchase and resell for some good profit. It's difficult to explain, but anything with any type of following, or something you think someone would collect, is worth something. Eventually you can learn how to create value with items, and with some little extra work, you can learn how to pull eBay visitors looking for brand name things into looking at your non-brand name things. I've bought some amazing things for super low prices and sold them for hundreds more than what I got them for. I often think of experimenting and seeing if I can turn $50 into a livable income ($2,000/mo+ in profit) with yard sales and eBay, and I probably could, of course knowing what I know now.

Of course its possible to filp a profit from items at garage sales.. Here is an idea go to a garage sale and take your phone with internet on it find some items that you think you could maybe make a profit off of then look them up on ebay on your phone and see what they are selling for.

Been thinking about checking out the garage sales but haven't bothered yet. Is there some kind of guide on what to look for and what you might find at garage sales that will sell well?

Yes this does work. Best thing to do is get to them as early as possible. I met a man about a month ago when we had ours and this is exactly what he did he bought up a lot of stuff and also sells it at flea markets.

Having a phone with internet helps, since you can check similar items right away and see if it would be worth it.

Generally, you will buy some that are worth nothing but many items should bring a profit.

Check the areas where there are a lot of expensive homes. Also look out for the foreclosure homes, they will sell some valuable items.

Yeah you can make money but try posting on your local craigslist first. ebay is good but the fee's suck unless you have multiples of the same item. Go to the rich section of your county. Old people that live in rich towns love to have garage sales and trust me they get packed and everything for cheap. You can either resell the stuff right away or save a room full of stuff and get a spot at a popular local swapmeet. You'll make bank especially with used clothes. Alot of people buy used clothes for work especially jeans.

How do I know? I know people that make a living reselling stuff they get from garage sells and resell at swapmeets. From what I seen jeans, tools, small electronics, weights can make you bank at swapmeets.
