Make money with eBay affiliate.

I read this post and go WOW
This is amazing.
Honestly, this is what separates the boys from men. I don't suppose there is guide, ebook or something with instructions that shows how this is done!
Awesome Ruck. THANKS

In regards to PPC...

That;s the simple part. ! software scans my affiliate network and retrieves product listings, then scans the google pages for whatever country I want to promote in. It let's me know if there is an affiliate url.

Second I use the Adwords Editor. I write one ad for all products. I can't really go into to heavily, but I have gotten the warning message from Google many times because I near the keyword limit. Which Sucks.

I say time and time again. I do hardly nothing manually. If I find a large marketplace with high demand, I will go out and have me some software to retrieve the lists. Getting the software to work with the bulk upload feature of Adwords Editor is the hard part, but if you get a good programmer, this is easy.

It's not about writing ads. It's about getting thousands of products, checking to see if there is an affiliate url, if there is then leave it alone, if there isn't then you make an ad within the program takes like 2 seconds.

How abouts do I access the affiliate eBay link to get the item URL if I want to link to the UK eBay ?

i'm unclear on this. You post on CL, your auto responder says...??? What? That item you mentioned on CL is actually an auction on ebay? And then the person you responded to clicks on the ebay affiliate code?

It just seems that not many people would bother. Am I missing something? I'd like to try it, have been with cj for a while.

Consider this scenario :

Do we get paid by cj/ebay if the visitor already has an ebay a/c. (which he will use to login) but was sent to the listing of a BIN/auction through our affiliate link & he buy/wins that item/auction ?

I have to support Harro on this thread....

I have 50 sites promoting ebay auctions and I make great money. I know what you are thinking, as most do: why would people go to you versus eBay? But they do and they will.

Harro recommends using links on free sites and as soon as they click that link, they are cookied and that is all that matters Excellent idea.

You see, their curiosity and desire to find the object of their desire takes over. And guess what, they buy. Brilliant classified ad strategy...thanks for sharing, Harro.

I use a combination of links on free sites and actual full sites primarily promoting an Ebay niche. Just yesterday, I had 500+ UNIQUE visitors to one of my sites, which may not seem like a lot, but I did nothing special to get it...and they BUY NOW and they bid...and they click on Adsense. And yes, CJ pays commissions and on leads for eBay above the sale completions

I make money on every site I build targeting eBay. Never a dime on PPC. Although I suppose I would clean up if I did. I prefer blackhat (sometimes) and whitehat SEO (other times).

I should mention that I do add unique article content to the sites and follow some of Ruck's strategies for launching the site, do a bit of social bookmarking and walk away and build the next. My goal is to finish 50 more in in 2008! Why work hard when eBay is working hard for me!!!!

And don't forget keyword selection and marketing is everything! Just do enough and get them to click that dam_ link....

Also, make sure that you use a different CJ PID for each classified link or site you build so you can track where you are making money.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Thanks,
Alexa

Thanks alexe for the info;

I am new on all these,
is it too much if I ask little more details on these?
I want to build one site promoting something from ebay, so if it was successful then I build the second one, as for now I have no ideas what to promote.

1- do you use a script or something to make your site to promote ebay stuff?
2- how do you promote it, CL and other free site?

if anyone else like to give me some info, I appreciate it,

thanks

007, there are a couple of scripts for creating ebay sites, BANS, phpBay, etc. These scripts just pull and parse the ebay RSS feed on the fly and construct links with your CJ affiliate id in them. You could code your own too.

There are tons of ways to promote it, just like any other site. Depending on the niche certain methods may be more responsive than others. I do a combination of things like classified ads, parasite hosting, blogs, etc.

As far as picking what to promote, look at what is popular/hot right now, what are people searching for, time of year, etc. Amazon and ebay hot sellers lists, Google product search, etc.

I tend to try to go after idiots. Stuff that will appeal to someone in a demographic that doesn't know jack about computers and the internet, like kids and old people, so I get the ACRU's (signups) :-) Sometimes it can be surprising what junk makes money ;-)

Thank you Harro, I am just now getting into ebay, and was not aware of this. Getting more blackhat by the minute! lol

I have a problem with BANS. I've installed it, and everything seems to be working... but no auctions show up in any category! There are thousands on eBay, but none of them show up on my site. Any ideas? Has anyone had this problem? I've gone through the user manual and set up everything step-by-step. Everything else seems to work perfectly. But no auctions. I have entered the correct PID from the CJ admin.

I saw something about this before but my main problem is register as affiliate on Ebay, they don't accept people outside US.

Do you know the way to bypass this problem? (i think this is a CJ's problem + ebay)

I've this problem too. My friend told me that we can be accept if we use US virtual address but I still not tried yet cause need to have some investment to go with the virtual address..

Alexa,

Thanks for the great info and congrats on your success.

For example, the site you received 500 unique visitors to--what did you do to promote the site? Article submissions, social bookmarks, directory submitting, etc.

And do all of your ebay affiliates have unique content on them in addition to the auction listings?
