I was wondering if someone can give me some peace of mind. I suspect this person I know irl maybe dishonest and I am just trying to assure myself that my assessment is correct.

If you know about dropshipping you know there is a ton of ways and especially schools who make money from associating with it. The one I took was called, I'm fudging the keywords because I do not like their motto of milking people, Dropshit Duffaceation. Originally the guy who made their videos was a man by the name of Roger 1angile or something like that and he sort of branched off as their CEO.

Now what my buddy boy is claiming is that Roger actually has a new system or thing he's promoting where you get paid for searching on Amazon? I don't know Roger, but I like him as a person of straight forwardness, but buddy boy can be wrapped in lies as much as truth.

A simple google search yielded no results and that Roger is actually retired from the IM game and probably still only dropshipping. I feel I have a better grasp than he does since I've actually done drop shipping and Mturk and things related to making money on amazon which if something slipped by I didn't know about I need to know which is why I'm openly asking has anyone ever heard of this or something similar because I cannot fathom how you'd make money from doing it?

It's not their affiliate program as far as I know, and he says its simply your searching items directly on amazon and that's it?

If there was one company that I wouldn't fuck over ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever, it would be Amazon. Two reasons:

1) They are an extremely customer-oriented company (when you buy Prime or from their warehouses) and are willing to bend the rules to make you happy every time.

2) They will EAT YOU UP AND SHIT YOU OUT.

I adore amazon, its one of the companies on my DO NOT MESS WITH EVER EVER EVER list.

They've cut me so many breaks and their support staff is stupendous.

I doubt its a blackhat thing since the person in question telling me this is proclaims that he "stopped hacking for a reason". I'm extremely adamant about gray hatting, hence why I want to know if this is something Im missing out on or if he's talking out his ass.

Just punch buddy boy in the face until he tells you the truth.

A google search for "make money searching amazon" just got me a bunch of useless results, including a person promoting a program called Qme or sommat through an 11 second video.

If it looks like, sounds like and smells like bullshit, it's bullshit.

Never heard about it, nor can I see any logic behind such a venture

Yeah which is what surprised me, since I browse BHW from time to time and I've never heard of such a thing, the closest thing I thought he was trying to bull shit to me was the "micro niche blog review sites" using amazon affiliate codes to monetize. Everyone's pretty much beaten me to the punch with him. Although if it is that Qme3 thing, I've heard of it, it's not that great. I'd laugh if he suggested that to me actually.

The weird thing is I felt as if he was lying and that he was attempting on sending me on another wild shit chase, we all know the types the ones that live vicariously through "encouraging" others to do something only for them to take 0 personal risk and reap all the benefits once someone else has essentially made it.

Nice to get some assurance that my deception senses are still calibrated towards him thanks guys.

Actually, there is a way. Qmee.

Works for google and most merchants, though it's in quite small amounts.

From what I read Qmee doesnt pay that much the figures he was talking was a hundred or more a week, or did I miss something?

There are Qmee twists, I'm not too familiar with them; But they're more about referring people to it than actually searching yourself.
