Never heard of making money with playlists on YouTube. If the videos in the playlist aren't yours you won't be making any money, unless people pay you to be in their playlist.
That's highly unlikely though, because there aren't any statistics like on Spotify or Apple Music where it says how many people have subscribed to that playlist. Also music CPM is really really low on YouTube.
one example is.
several large botted channels pulling millions of views per day and making money from adsense.
but most people would think thats the end right?
but they go a bit further to increase or double their money.
all these massive channels pulling millions of views per day, redirecting traffic to one common playlist.
the playlist will have 100s of dead monetized channels, that do not even have any algorithm authority,
since those channels are not built yet but they are botted monetized.
so what happens now is, these playlists receive a few hundred k to a million views per day.
those are real organic human views that get redirected to the playlist and register as views on all those monetization enabled channels.
result?
these channel gain, free building blocks/ free ticket to gaining authority, due to constant views getting added to its videos from the playlists and building subscribers.
in the process they also earn free adsense money due to views coming from the playlist, despite not yet having its own algorithm authority.
so instead of just the big channels earning, they increase their money by sending views to small channels.
so now instead of earning once, they earn multiple times.
eventually the small channels will also blow due to that much authority getting added.
its an infinite money loop almost, whatever you want to call it.
this is abused by a lot of kids channels.
