Thanks to this forum, I kinda developed the 'money makers mindset' which makes opportunities more.. noticeable. :)

So yesterday I had this idea. Hopefully I'm not being a noob right now for "inventing" an old trick. XD

So this is the general idea:

1. Find a young forum with a dedicated yet slightly naive (and ignorant about IM) staff. People who want their forum to grow.

2. Join the forum and either; a) build trust with it or b) contact the staff immediately.

3. Make a deal with the staff; you put CB your offers (make sure they have got something to do with the general subject of the forum) on a sticky thread and they get a % of each sale. (Tell them they NEED you to become a big forum... I'm sure you can come up with some sly arguments.)

4. Offer SEO services, (You can, again, be an unnecessary middle-man and get a % of it.) or just give them the tools they need to gain traffic/members.

5. Now, come to an agreement of how much they'll get from each sale. Since they don't know anything about your commission you can say they'll get like 15% or something...Depends on the situation etc.

6. [Optional] If you want to make even more money, and be a jerk at the same time, you can also ..not tell them when there has been a sale. :p
But I don't suggest overdoing this, as they might get suspicious.

7. Once everything is set up, watch these forums grow in members, and thus in potential buyers of the offers (related to their interests!)

8. In theory, you could repeat this and scale it up.

Sooo, guess this was my first contribution to BHW, can't wait for the more experienced people to give some feedback. :D
Thanks for reading!

In my experience, you can find them in the niche of "alternate believes" like wicca and shizzle.
They buy those ridiculous numerology and astrology offers, AND their staff is koo-koo. :p

Lose step 6 and you may have something here with some of the wacky forums.

I also think you would be better served if the ebook you offer was your own as opposed to a CB product as the forum owners could realize that they could set up a CB account on their own.

This is actually a good idea. Not sure about others but I have not seen this before. With some twists, this could easily give $50 per month at least.

Sure, that's why 6 was optional, it's not something I would personally do, but people in certain situations might be able to apply it safely.

Eboo*ks are good, but my idea was to hide the cb lin*ks within big titles like "DISCOVE*R YOUR FUTURE" or something alike. But you'll have to make sure that YOU are the one making that thread.

how do you go about finding a forum where people are naive and noobs?? can you name some

Certain niches are prone to be naive ;)

*points at astrology*

Also 'fresh' forums with staff who want to become huge fast tend to approve of ways to lead more traffic to them, and make some money with it for the costs that come with having a forum, or wanting to expand.

Could work though you need to start taking action from now on.

but there are a lot of people who start forums and that have bloody idea about im or affiliate programs.

Good idea. The problem is if someone has a forum they are probably already in the IM circle and know about stuff like CB. So that wouldn't work. BUT.... if you have your own original and related product that you are offering, this may work.

I think you are better off trying it with a well established forum who wants to be "bigger".

Newer forums will never generate enough viewers to make your time viable.

(of course this is only my opinion and I could be dead wrong)
