Make KYC mandatory for marketplace

So, you have been lurking since 2008 and in 2025 you decided to get back to this forum to be against implementing KYC for sellers? Mmmmm
That's what I thought when I saw his intro earlier
''lurking since 2008''
All those 15-17 years old accounts that suddenly become active are highly suspicious, let's see what this member will become

Maybe you are not a rat but you clearly are not smart either.
KYC can be easily bypassed
Secondly to request KYC BHW would first need to buy equipment to legaly store that data according to the UK sensitive data storing laws.
Thirdly on BHW majority of products being sold are breaking big companies TOS.Who would be so stupid to provide KYC when offering such services.
exactly my point

I know it would probably make less people sell but a lot of scammers would be eliminated as well as low quality sellers. Making in the end BHW more valuable for both sellers and customers.

Also make it mandatore in people replying in "For Hire" section, if oerson who hires leaves telegram/discord has to leave them in hidden fields that would be seen only by KYC'ed members

Additionally escrow would work on top of this for bigger transactions w bhw taking a 5-200$ fee depending on offer price

The moderators are already conducting some form of KYB, verifying and testing the services before approval. And then what? Have we actually solved anything?

Moreover, most scams—about 80%+ of the time—are conducted using crypto payments (unfortunately). However, when the buyer tries to exploit "loopholes", also known as "gray area" (or realistically speaking, dark as a black hole), they are fully aware of the risks. They understand that absolutely no one can guarantee or provide buyer protection for such services.

"Also stroo trying to talk like drugs and tanks are being sold on bhw since anything being sold at bhw is completely legal."

You are absolutely .... wrong about this. In reality, there are services that are far from “completely legal,” as they clearly violate the terms and services of the involved parties.

I can mention some , but I'm sure that you know what I'm saying :)

I understand where you are coming from. There are sellers like you/us who operate as legally registered businesses, accepting legal payment methods PayPal/Stripe but also providing LEGAL services or legal digital products.

Needless to say, from a financial perspective, you are asking BHW to take financial losses—not because of not allowing scammers, but because there are still legitimate users who are afraid of KYC, especially when it comes to purple-gray area services.

The answer will be another one telling you to wait for Marketplace 2.0, I hope it will be implemented soon, because the current situation is not sustainable

Just to point out breaking a websites/company/financial TOS doesn't always mean your breaking the law.

I broke trustpilots TOS and they took me to court and i won. I wasnt breaking the law, just there rules and they didn't like it. They paid me :)

Everything depends on your location and jurisdiction.I bet you are not in a western (US influenced) country located

Anyways KYC would turn BHW very quickly into WF 2.0 and how they ended everyone knows

Tell that to TommySC who got a $1.000.000 lawsuite for selling accounts on BHW
Anything you have that can allow me to read more into this story?

Anything you have for this I can read into as well?

Trustpilot accused me of fake reviews. Wanted me to upgrade to premium but me being me, i wanted them to take me to court.

I have an army of solicitors in the family.

They cease and deceased me, I asked for proof, they just said there systems stayed it was fake, again asked for evidence...

They could not link me with any fake reviews

I asked for ip addresses, computers, each review they said was faked, was created all around the country, with different computers, phones, browsers. Not 1 linked to me, court found in my favour and made them payout to me.

They had to reinstate all reviews because they weren't actually fake. Although my other reviews on other profiles were haha...

Fu trustpilot.

I thought they hit him with 4MM?

I know it was years ago but he and I used to live not far from one another and would chat some.

Scammers can bypass payment processors, so this is not an option. Maybe higher levels in the marketplace.

This is the answer. While there isn't a lot of details for MP2 to release yet, I'll hopefully have some sort of news to report back towards the end of the quarter.

So the desire (from some of you) for KYC is noted and will be discussed.
