Just briefly browsing the forum you'll see a thread every now and then about someone failing at IM, how nothing they try works, how a method is too saturated... I could go on but you get the point. Excuses do nothing, negativity does nothing. Sure, it's easy to say this when you're in a privileged position, when you've 'made it' - but you need to make those failures of yours a success. Fall seven times, stand up eight. Jumping around from method to method doesn't work. That's a bonafide fact. This get quick rich nonsense will hardly work for anyone, don't be fooled by the services that promise so much and deliver so little. Don't be conned by the garbage you see on WF or DP, it's not REAL as much as you want it to be. The gold they offer is nothing more than pained dust, it's worthless. If you really want to make it you have to stay determined and stay motivated. But more than these, patience is the key to understanding, it's the key to knowledge. You cannot expect results when you don't give your time in the first place. There is always a trade-off. If you're new to IM then read. Read, read, read. There is a wealth of information on this website, after a while you'll be able to spot trends and get into the right mindset. Then you take the plunge, you jump in and take action. It's no good reading one method and then another and then another, never doing anything. You'll only see results if you actually do something about it. It's like having that dream body of yours. Reading up about nutrition and bodybuilding isn't going to transform your body. It's about taking action. Every January, Gyms across the world have their highest influx of new customers. People who've made new years resolutions to 'get fit'. Maybe you have too. If you're a regular at the gym, as each month passes you'll see a rapid decline in these new members. Why? Lack of motivation, that motivation is usually caused by laziness or not seeing results. But a few of them will continue going, some from skinny frames to muscular and others from shedding the pounds off. It's the same in IM, heck it's the same in anything. It only works if you're willing to stick it out. Don't quit before you see the results. Search for that nugget, sift through the dirt until you've found that gold. Don't just pick up clumps of dirt and say that nothing is in it. Refine it until you do find that piece of gold. If the method doesn't work then you find out why and you keep on doing this until it does. Be as productive as you can be and get whatever it is done. It is possible to turn your dream of being successful without a day job into a reality, but it's not going to happen overnight and it's not going to be easy. There are a lot of success stories right here on this site but at the same time there are even more failures. You have the opportunity to learn from both sides, it's all valuable. Don't make the mistake of not trying and the other of not trying hard enough. Just my two cents.
