They just take the signs... once a cop called me and told me it was against the law and I told him it was a civil thing and not criminal so it was not in his jurisdiction. He proceeded to tell me he was going to file charges, blah, blah, blah... I told him to make sure that they spelled my last name correctly as it has 2 L's in it and hung up on him.
Never heard another word.
You won't have any problems.
HaHA! I love it! Nice one Bass.
Yeah, I can confirm this as well from my sales days. They work, they are illegal, not a big deal though. I once had a cop call me as well but he was really cool & not near the jerk that cop that called @Basstracker was. One of my associates in the office made the mistake of nailing his signs to the telephone pole which is an EVEN BIGGER no no than the signs on street corners. (they view that as destruction of city property amongst other things.)
And still nothing really happened to him, they just said come remove them ASAP, or it would be a problem.
They do work. One thing I did to keep mine up longer was find heavy traffic shopping center or malls and place them at points where traffic is always slowing down (so they get noticed).
This way they are on private property & not right on the city streets. This always kept them up longer for me. May be different in other areas though.
You can find a good sign provider for cheap, I think I got down to 0.25 cents a sign at one point. Not shitty either, metal brackets, 2 sturdy legs. So just shop around.
Thinking out loud.....I wonder if this would work with Pay per call?? Humm.....I think yes.
Your thoughts?
