A simple READMEFIRST text file contained with the file your sharing can work wonders,most people think this is the instructions to install the program and serial. So if you put a message to visit your sales page to get the serial number this would work, you could put the serial number at the very bottom of your sales page, sure they may just rush to the bottom to find the serial, but theres a good chance they will read your shit first...

OK guys i got an idea
so back with the whole put 2 exes to gether and make it go like that

OK so heres my idea what if you made a program say in vb or something that you combind but insead of makeing it popup you just make the code so that it opens sites like linkbucks,linkbee,adfly, ect but you put the settings so that the program is hidden and just once its done visiting the links it closes all by its self
 
i can see where this could work for 1,000 hit adds, or selling torrent memberships.

Firstly, as soon as a few people realise your app is loading up a url its going to get flagged FAST, once it gets flagged it gets deleted. 1000 peers? NO CHANCE! you will be lucky to get 100. Now this is to say that your torrent even sticks in the first place, have you tried uploading to mininova or piratebay lately? If your uploading 'popular' apps they are going to get banned before they even get a single download, trust me i've been doing this for a long time and popular apps are so saturated that mods are just banning them left right and centre.

This idea has potential but its not going to get you anywhere near as much traffic as you think. The conversion rate for this kind of thing is awful aswell, im sure there are ways you can make this method work but you really need to think outside the box.

I was thinking the same thing. In the past when I have uploaded torrents bundled with anything people flag it in a heart beat and kill off the torrent.

If you do it smartly, you can upload an app that still works.
 
really awesome idea dude , i didn't read the all topic yet but brilliant idea, the problem would be here if you are uploading images , or books -> exe extension would be suspicion
 
Did anyone mention of torrents banning account for such practices? Or removing files.. ?

Back when I've been testing this method I never really managed to pull much traffic and my files were off the torrents. :)

I'm new here (but not noob in internet marketing). One of many great threads in this forum, btw.

Maybe to get some opensource projects, "upgrade" them and put to torrents under app names stuffed with some good keywords. :) I saw some shitty terminator movie got many seeds and peers because of name when terminator salvation came out...

I have been using a method that looks like this one however I just put a
shortcut to a bit.ly link that directs to my affiliate link with the filename "Important" or "Readme" or something that will trick the downloader to look at the file.
Less traffic but almost no chance it will get banned of flagged.

I would also like to know if there is a method to bind an exe file to an mp3 file.
So when someone plays the mp3 it will open a browser.
(Or binding it to a video file)
