Hi i just wanted to leave a quick review of this service which i have just started using last month.

As far as reporting goes the options to view back-links to a particular site is great, with many options checking on a competitors back-linking strategy.

I really like how the tool organizes the reports as to the most valuable back-links and making everything available for download to .csv files.

I would like to see this tool added to the SEOQUAKE toolbar and do some simple reporting as YSE did once(very poorly but it was still a good tool.)

A great feature of Majestic is the frest link database and historic to go back and check all links from history to a site too, which is useful when investigating what happened to a ranking of a site.

The Service is a little expensive particularly limiting the access to newbie internet marketeers but is defiantly worth every penny. Perhaps there could be a limited version available for people to use free and something of a SEOQuake plugin could make this tool the new YSE.

Who else has used this tool? any thoughts?

I use them, like you say maybe a little expensive for what it is. i probably only use it a few times in the month right now!

MajesticSeo have just launched an API so hopefully some features will start to appear in tools soon.

It would be nice to use the generated link reports to make some sort of tree/layout for a visual idea of whats going on

There is a free version of Majestic SEO. For over 90% of what I do, the free version is sufficient. If you don't want to pay for it just sign up for the paid version for one month at a time when it is necessary.
