I will chime in on this thread as I have a ton of experience with Magic Submitter.
1. Magic Submitter can automate and drip feed but there are some limitations.
- You can only submit 1 content item per scheduled task. So if you want to rotate between 5 different articles either you spin them all in the same content window or you have to create 5 scheduled tasks.
- In Magic Submitter you can't specify the # of submissions you want to do per day, only the number of DAYS you want to do the submission for. So for example, you can set "Run Task For 5 Days" and if you've registered and selected 50 sites then it will submit 10 a day, but if you've registered and selected 500 sites it will submit 100 per day. In essence you can control this factor, but the UI is a bit tricky.
- It does not verify links so it counts on a submission basis only. You could set it up to post to 10 sites a day and if all 10 fail you will get 0 links that day. I don't know if any software does this but it can only drip submissions, not verify successes.
- MS is capable of uploading avatars/photos for Web 2.0s. The problem is that the majority of default programmed sites with the exception of one platform aren't programmed by default to upload avatars. You can tweak this yourself but it would be a tremendous effort and probably be overridden by the next database update. On custom sites it's very easy to do.
2. Magic Submitter's ability to program new sites is functional but limited as well
- The command designer makes it easy so most people with ZERO programming knowledge can train MS to post to MOST sites. However there are some sites MS isn't capable of posting to, OR you would need knowledge of REGULAR EXPRESSION in order to set the proper commands. If you don't have this knowledge tough luck it can't be done.
- The designer mode can be tricky and it's tedious when fixing broken sites. You can create templates based on platforms for example you can make a template for "XenForo" forums and add child sites underneath. The problem is if there's a nuance like one site asks an anti-spam question "What's the name of our club?" before you register it's a headache to work around.
a. There's no 1 click to remove the child from underneath the parent, it's like a 3 step process to "edit" "copy url" then "copy template" then "paste url" so this can be extremely annoying.
b. There's no popup window with a questions database like there is in GSA every anti-spam question has to be programmed manually.
