Made my first $50 online

So I just wanted to share the news. I ran a blog for two months now, and I finally made my first $50 in advertising. I don't want to share to link to the blog, but I will say that the content is unique (all written by me), and I worked very hard to spread it myself with no spamming involved. Over the past two months, I built a mailing list of around 2500 emails, and I only send a once a week letter. I don't push or sell any products at all, any the ads I used were not pop ups. They were small banners which are non intrusive.

So far, I have around a 100 articles. I actually quit my job, so had so much free time to do this. I was writing up to 5 articles a day. Each article is different, I honestly wasn't counting the words. The only thing that mattered was their content.

Congrats!! keep building that list and that's what new people that want to create a blog , quiz site etc should learn because it become easy to get traffic when u have a list it's like when you have subscribers on youtube and just when u post u know for sure that u are going to receive 1 million views. Keep it up

Indeed, and it is extremely important not to spam them or send them automated content. I wrote the content myself, and tried my best not to include links unless absolutely necessary.

If its unique content and hard work, the 2500 mailing list impress me more than the 50$ to be honest.

You potentially can get 50$ from ATLEAST 10 of them if it was indeed quality content and you have a fitting product in mind. so here is a X10.

or just get 5$ from 100 of them, depends on your product, but if price is lower conversions will be higher so it still makes sense.

I wish I knew how to do that, but the blog is not about products at all. I was hoping maybe I could monetize it more with exclusive content subscriptions (like not super expensive). This may give me a further push. So far, I got zero spam reports, and got a few bounces (12 bounces). I am just trying to keep the list clean.
