Made $30 on two articles today

redtide,

Thanks for the reply...good suggestion, too. I went ahead and put an article up as Part 1. So, we'll see how they respond. I don't have the follow-ups ready yet but should have them ready to go by Monday. I'll definitely you know how it works out.

BTW, another "thank you". As I mentioned before, I was stuck in "analysis paralysis" mode 'til I read your thread and for some unknown reason it touched me and shook me out of it and got me moving. So, my first article is in...don't even know if they'll accept it or not. But at least now I'm doing SOMETHING. Got a few ideas to twist it up a little as I move forward and will let you and everyone know how and even if it does anything. So, thanks again for the motivation.

Isn't it interesting how sometimes you never know how what you do, say or write will affect someone?

Regards,

That's awesome iron, that's exactly why I started this thread was to help motivate people into having a go at this and helping them scale it up.

I was the exact same way, too much reading and over thinking about how I wanted to do it "right", and not enough hopping in and taking action. I think I killed off quite a few brain cells during the information overload phase lol.

One thing I've learned here at BHW is to learn the basics, decide what method works best for your current skill level , and go for it, using trial and error to learn as you go (just like you're doing)

So you're well on your way to doing well with AC and making money online in general I think. You've got the right mindset.

Check your PM, I'm gonna send you something

Thanks for the sincere compliments

Any advice you need just let me know

redtide

The very first article I wrote and had accepted was from an interesting news story, but it wasn't something that 990 other people would have jumped on, so it got approved. It was something really small in interest scope, but news just the same.

Sweet, were you following all their guidelines by hyperlinking all the quoted sources etc? I hadn't been and like I said I had dozens accepted. lol up until the other day.

I'm going to continue to test the waters and throw a few up without all the requirements over the next week, but if they keep enforcing them, I think I'll just stick with the general rewrites and partner calls. I found it too time consuming for $4 to meet their endless requirements.

If you are just submitting news pieces for $4 without hyperlinking and citing sources etc. Let us know how it goes if you would.

Thanks

Thanks

Mine was a science article so i hyperlinked the scientist's name to his homepage and gave a couple links as "additional reading" at the bottom, which featured some of the science pages on the project from the colleges/etc that supported it.

Redtide, can you tell me whats the point adding links into the article? how are you going to get more view because of that. and what kind of link did you add? like if my article is about iphone, do i just add a link back to apple's site or something? thanks for the help!

AC only pay for US resident and you have to submit tax info,
the most hard thing is ,how to over come the tax problem?

Adding links does a number of different things to add value to the articles Xmas, First, the sites you link to can pick up your article for a backlink which increases ranking in the search engines, thus adding to page views. Second, they are necessary for certian news and partner site articles to be accepted by AC for citing sources, Third, you can use them to link to other relevant articles you've already submitted and published with AC and it can double your page views. There's a few other reasons that I can't think of at the moment as I've been sitting at this computer way too long today lol

Look back at this thread and I'm pretty sure we covered how to do the linking. Basically ya, throw a link to apples site and then link any other relevant keywords to the top results in the search engines. If the top result is some obscure blog page or something then change up the phrasing of your keywords to link to a good page with high traffic.

Hope this helps

Sign up as an American citizen, even if you're not. When you get near the $600 cut-off just abandon account and start another. You can't gain much from the residual page views this way so it's all about the upfront offers. No problemo

Good luck

question for ya redtide.. when u submit your article rewrites "over the transom" (as in, they are not pre-assigned by AC), does AC respond back to you with an offer for your piece? I turned one in on a whim today and got back a choice: accept $3 for it, rewrite it, or decline it because of a "better offer" elsewhere.
Assuming they do this often, isn't it a gamble trying to guess how much they will offer you for your work vs. how much you pay someone to rewrite?

Almost all my articles get $3.00...
I rewrite them myself from ezinearticles and it takes 15 minutes a day per article.
I would just like to add this: write articles that are interesting and useful. great areas are technology, yoga, business, marketing, controversies, news, drugs, issues, etc.

Do NOT write an article about making a ton of money in a short amount of time. i tried this and they only pay you $1.

Ya werrich, thats how it works. Almost all of my articles are submitted without claiming an "assignment". It's not really risky, it's just a matter of learning exactly what AC is wanting. If you got $3 for one of your first regular submissions then you're on the right track. They usually pay 2-2.5 per article at first (since people just starting aren't familiar with what AC wants for the higher payments)

Another thing they don't like and won't pay upfront for are funny/comedy type articles.

I asked someone to do the articles for me from GAF. Untill now, she hasn't send the articles to me. How long do they usually take to finish 30 Articles? And may be some of you guys OR Redtide 1969, do you know some great gf member who are specialize in writing SEO optimized content with rate of $1/500 Words. I really need it urgently, because I can't submit the content to AC, if I haven't receive any of the Articles.

Thx

Like I posted earlier in this thread, I give them a deadline of 24 hrs for a 10 article batch. They know this is a requirement as I make it clear in the beginning. This way you are getting articles back everyday to submit to AC rather than waiting for "whenever" the rewriters decide to get the articles back to you. See my post about the requirements I give my rewriters.

You'll have to place more than one ad at GAF and weed out the bad writers before you find the good ones. It took me over a month to find the 4 good writers I have now.

Good luck

thanks much redtide. as always u rock :)

since you have been w/AC for a while longer than myself and some others, what's a average offer for u now that u have clout?

Thanks werrich,

It's about the same as when I originally started this thread, between $3.5 and $4.5. Here lately they've been consistenly between $4- $4.5. It could have to do with clout level which is at a 6 now, but I think it's just that through trial and error I've nailed down better what they are wanting, and trying to consistently give it to them.

Hi redtide1969
do you do keyword research before doing article rewrites if yes do you concern yourself with the competition and cpc and ctr value of the keywords?

anyways thanks for the great tips and guide you made here.

Hey what does GAF stand for? Can you really find writers there that will write good and descent content for just $1.00-1.50 per 500-600 words?

^
GAF stands for GetAFreelancer.

Ask for some samples so you will have an idea of how good (or bad) the bidders' writing skills are.

man, this is amazing data, after I Master ewhoring, I think I move onto Ac. Build multiple incomes, online. Never work for any one ever again. Sit at home and enjoy life.......Thanks for the info

Cool, glad the info helped, but I will say this method is alot of work, and really time consuming. I'm working 10-12 hrs a day on this method, and then spending another 5 or so hours looking for other methods to start up and try

So there is definately money to be made here, but it always comes down to time spent vs money earned, and on that front Ac isn't the most time effective method.

Not at all trying to disuade you, but this isn't easy money unfortunetly

Look at it as a "quick money" source and small residual income from page views, and you'll be golden.

Good luck with it

No problem glad to help,

No keyword research as submitting 40 articles a day, there just isnt time. Plus no real need for it with AC, the main thing is rewriting on niches that 1) havent been done to death and 2) people are likly to search for in the SE's

One of the main things with the method I use is cutting down time spent as much as possible. Between scraping 40 articles daily, adding resources to each, mailing them off to be rewritten, getting them back and proofreading, checking keyword density, that they pass copyscape and then getting them all formatted, hyperlinked and submitted, it can be pretty time consuming.

I'm always looking for ways to cut down on time spent working this method, which is key to not getting burned out on it.

Hope this helped

inspiring story, redtide!

Anyway, I have just got my verified account yesterday - which I pay for the acc to be verified. I wonder whether I can use my own paypal with that acc? would it be ok to use a different paypal profile with that ac acc?

Awesome, I'm glad it's helped ladyheart, on this one I don't have first hand experience as I'm from the States, but I would think it's fine to use your own PP acct, maybe some others can chime in on that.

Best of luck with this

Redtide, I've no idea why AC keep rejecting my content. Could you give a few tips, what type of content AC want?

Hey Matt, I've pretty much covered most of it man, I'll do a quick rundown though..topic needs to be unique so do a quick search on AC to see that the topic isn't done to death, use keyword in title, subtitle and first paragraph for a total of 2-3% density in the article. Grammar, punctuation, spelling needs to be "near" perfect, add links to top ranking sites in SE's, make it interesting to read.

And also Matt take a look at, and read, the top sources articles (they are on the front page) My articles have been exactly like what theirs are like, same format, subject matters etc.

Good luck man

redtide

Yes I do I use 4 accounts currently. 3 accts are what I consider throw away accts, meaning they arent w9 verified so when they reach the $500-$600 limit I just stop using them and start new ones.

How do you get paid that $500-600 then if you're just throwing away the accounts?

oh I forgot to ask, what are you doing for the "references" section?

I've heard of articles being rejected for not citing sources.
