Made $30 on two articles today

Well said Anthraxx -

People need to understand that just because this thread and AC is known as a quick way to get money into your Pay*pal, it doesn't mean that it's a walk in the park.

When I first started, I was getting crap offers and rejections too. The advice I "try" to give to you guys is from a LONG time of submitting every day, 7 days a week. I've tried to convey a number of times that just getting started is the hardest part and how looking at the "long term" is hugely important. Again, it takes a certain mindset to make online ventures work.

Here's an example, JonWrong who was really active in this thread about 25-30 pages back used to post up confirming the things I was saying about treating AC like a business, and how he and his fiance struggled at first, but started making a fulltime living with AC after studying the book and this thread. I'm sure some of you guys remember him. He had accounts banned, rejected articles etc and stuck with it (a do-or-die mindset). Long story short, he eventually had it fully outsourced like I do and was making serious bank before he landed an even higher paying SEO job.

Any of you that are new to this should really go back and read his posts.

Congrats Anthraxx for having the mindset, +rep

@ danizdeman - I first started talking about the fact that I was outsourcing the actual article scraping about 10 pages back, you may want to go back and give it a read. The new book will also describe step by step how I train them.

Article was denied.

Upfront payment / Exclusive Thank you for your submission. This piece appears without your byline on at least one other Web site. While AC allows you to submit content that you have first published elsewhere under the Display Only-licensing tab, if we find the matching submission online, it must include your exact byline. Please do not resubmit this content without first ensuring that the bylines on both pieces match exactly.

I know, I'm outsourcing a lot right now, getting good rewriters for a low price.

When you go to AC, Expect a denied content when you outsource it.. You need to train your workers real damn hard to get what AC wants

the article was really good, it was just that, that was the problem
I'm paying a science teacher 1.50 for the rewrites, and it was good, I don't understand the problem.

^^^ sounds like u didnt run it through dupefreepro before u submitted it. it should be 85% unique to pass copyscape. I make mines 90% unique because I dont use copyscape and I use 3 words instead of 4. You have to make sure u do thst to ensure that ur not plagiarizing.

You should teach your writers on how to use dupefreePRO perfectly :)

hey guys...all my accounts got suspended..To be more specific i've been asked for a W-9 verification.I dont know whyy the heck this happened.I have 4 accounts.2 of them were out of use for more than 1 month when a got a rejection streak on both and i sayed it's better to abbandon them for a while. My other 2 accounts were about 1 week and a half old. I was getting 3 $ offers on both (even one 3.67 offer) and one of the accounts had more than 1000 views Clout lvl 4.

Now i'm wondering what could trigger this? A proxy problem? I use public proxies so yeah they are not the best but i know that everytime i used them i checked if i didn't use that proxy on other acocunt.Could one slip and trigger this? I always clear cache and cookies with CCleaner.

On My last 2 accounts I used to promote them with 4 twitter accounts. So i used all 4 twitter accounts to promote articles on each account. Could that be the problem?

If anyone experienced this before it would be nice to share they experience too so we can avoid those mistakes.

Thanks

PS: Any of you know a Good Proxy seller? I searched in proxy subforum but all sellers are offering proxy packages(at least 10).I don't need that many, i only need 2.
Any help would be appreciated !!

Use VPN will be a good option. I use hxxp://www.hidemyass.com/ for various jobs. :)

@ danizdeman - Looking back over the article, were there any names, locations etc. being referred to in it?

@ streetballa - Sorry to hear that! That's why we talk so much about using private proxies. You can get away with using public ones for a period of time, but it's usually pretty short lived. I don't think it would have been Twitter unless you had other AC writers in your followers list and you're tweets were indicating that all 4 AC accounts were your own articles. With Twitter, I try to never indicate that the actual articles are mine. I just post them as "suggested reading" so to speak.

Just my two cents about finding rewriters on GAF. It may have been said, don't know so forgive me, but I've found that if you're having trouble getting the right persons say after a week or however long, (I remember reading in Red's book to have the posting stay for 60 days and if not satisfied , make a request to the GAF team etc etc etc and they'll repost your ad or something to the effect)

Well , I had trouble finding people after about 2 weeks, what I did was close the project , got the refund and refreshed my ad, new eye popping title , one or two new lines , but not changing too much and found alot more competent people. It really made a difference and now I have 3 bonafied rewriters for now. Was my suggestion helpful or not, let me know.

Thanks for sharing Topgurl, congrats on getting some good rewriters in place also. For people that want to get through the hiring phase asap they can also get two to three ads running at one time to have more bidders to choose from. At that time I didn't have to use proxies or an IP change to open 3 accounts at one time, but I'm not sure if that's changed or not since then.

Has anyone else recently started multiple GAF accounts without proxies/IP change?

I have multiple GAF accounts and I used a proxy for registration but not for the logins after that. So far my accounts are still alive :)

Btw @red: About the earlier mentioned article and stuff, probably I will hit you up for a 1to1 session in near future.

I also started to take a closer look at the AC community, commenting articles, following contributors, posting in the forum and it really helps to gain pageviews, and you get some useful tips too. So basically I can recommend that to everyone :)

@ john,

Absolutely, especially with adding people as a fan and commenting on their articles. It's a great long term boost to the page views of your content. Also, having an impressive profile helps a lot too. :)

Okay, the amount of information in here is overwhelming. I had some questions about AC that I really needed answers to, so I guess it's understandable that I did not look to any further than redtide. One hour of consultation with him did the trick. Not only is he very knowledgable on AC, he is always keen to help people out. He showed me how exactly he finds content that AC would really feel bad about rejecting. I am very happy with the $25 I spent, and at the end of the day what matters is that I have a good understanding of how AC works. Keep up the good work, redtide.

Just a heads up to any of you that are new at making some extra $$ with AC.. Don't forget to check the "calls for content" for any of the offers from AC's partner sites. I claimed 2 of them this morning. They wanted 400 word articles on the Swine Flu and both were accepted by AC and reuters.c0m for $30. It took me about 45 mins. each to write (didn't need to research em, I just had the news on as I wrote em) SO that was a cool 30 bucks for 1 1/2
hrs work.

Also, I thought I'd share a few tips on what works for me at AC. I've got 4 good rewriters I picked up at GAF for $1 per 500 to 600 words. I took the time to email back and forth with my rewriters (once I knew they had promise)when I hired them to get them trained as to just what I needed from the articles, (SEO, adding personality to the rewrites, proper keyword density and usage, showed em how to use DupeFree etc) and it's payed off nicely.

I submit approx. 40 articles a day and get $3.50 to $4.50 per article and very few get denied (1 - 3 per 100 submitted)

When I first started AC 2 mnths ago I was trying to submit any cr*p that rewriters sent my way, but you just end up spinning your wheels and wasting time with articles refused and time wasted submitting for tiny profits. If you put that little bit of initial time into finding and training good rewriters it totally pays off.

Hope some of this helps

and don't forget to check the "calls for content" for alot better pay per article

Good luck!

Sorry for my ignorance..but..what is AC?

try different niches and you'll notice a trend in the upfronts - you'll notice that the more specific the article is the most you will get .. one of my accounts is at clout level six and I'm offered about 4.00 - 4.95 per article.. so the profit is there ... it's the building process that you want to focus on.. Goodluck to everyone starting out.

-TJ

Well damn. I have a clout 7 and I've been getting the exact same upfronts for about 5 clout levels now (which is about $3.20). I clearly don't know how to write an article.

Sorry for my ignorance..but..what is AC?
The answer to this is to look at the forum section that you are browsing... look at the BHW logo at the top left of your screen and beneath that is the "breadcrumb" trail of where you are currently browsing. The last part of that breadcrumb gives you the thread name and right before the thread name is the forum section you are in.

Now put 2 and 2 together and you will surely decipher the meaning of AC!

Hope that helps since we don't use the full name of what AC means here.
