Made $30 on two articles today

Well, if you're out of the States and they want you to contact them because the verification process raised a red flag, I'de say it's best to just let the account go. With that said, if you have a friend or family member in the States you could have them make the follow up call to AC using your account info.

If you are in the States, you can follow up with them and play it off like you were having problems with your phone when you were trying to activate it. The thing is, you're kind of running the risk of losing both accounts if they decide to dig a little deeper.

Like I said, if it was me I would probably just let the account go and fire up a new one.

I have read this entire thread and also purchased the Guide from Redtide. Between the two sources , I have learned a lot and I am now in the process of hiring writers.

I wanted to try to give back to this thread a little and offer (what I think) is a valuable time saver. I hope you all find this useful as well, even though it's nothing new or extraordinary.

If you have read through this thread, you will have come across the advice that you should check out how many times a keyword has been written about on A*C using their search function. Once you've done that, look at the "titles" and see how many times the keyword appears in the title.

With the help of G00gle, you can find out right away how often a keyword phrase has been written about. Use the following search string when searching Big G.

allintitle: {your keyword phrase} site:as_so_ci_ated_con_tent<dot>c0m

There is no space between the site: and the url

There is a space between allintitle: and your keyword phrase

The order of the search string matters (don't ask why... not sure, but I have tested this). allintitle: is first followed by site:

There are no underscores or curly braces in the search string (in case you're wondering... which most of you should not be)

There is no need for quotation marks around your keyword phrase

This saves me a bunch of time and makes it so I don't have to scan titles returned from A^C. The results are instantly returned to me from G.

Hope that helps some of you out!

;)

Question:

I have a note that it was mentioned that we should look for keyword phrases that are searched for at least 1000 times per month if we are going that route. Does that number represent broad, phrase, or exact match searches?

I'm guessing broad, but thought it better to ask to be sure.

Different Question:

I notice that A^C mentions that the keyword density should be 5%. It is being suggested here to shoot for 2-2.5%. Has anybody tested higher keyword densities, and if so, what were your results (accepted, rejected, higher up front, lower up front, etc)? Or is this an outdated suggestion that they never bothered to change?

Thanks

My offers haven't varied whether I use 1% or 20% SEO. The only BIG difference I noticed is the keyword should be in the first sentence of the first paragraph and the conclusion paragraph. My articles with the keyword used there get higher offers. Also, my articles with a conclusion paragraph wrapping up what I supposedly said in the body (which A*C doesn't read) seem to get higher offers.

The SEO is important if you want to bring in the PVs for the articles.

Hope that helps.

Redtide, what are the latest rumblings coming out of AC with your contacts?

Can we expect any changes for the better? There was some rumor about offering upfronts to more countries?

Hello,

I was trying to find the call for content you mentioned in your post on AC but could not find it. are you referring to the Assignment Desk?

Got my first article accepted. In true learning style in gonna make a go of this small time myself before outsourcing and expanding. No point outsourcing right away till I know what im at myself (especially as I got a pile of shyte work from a fre GAF's - didnt pay the tramps as it was so bad)

Just one thought - now that I am gonna have a pile of articles on my hard-drive, is there anything I can do with them, even if it was just 50c a time it would still add up to a substantial amount every month as theres so many

Isnt there somewhere I could sell them - I dont give a fuck if AC find out, ill have been paid and binned the account by then?

@ poolshark - My experience has been that anything with any search volume (even well below 1000 a month) can do well as long as the article/topic is unique and adding something new to the AC library. With that said, 1K to 30K would be optimal. In order to get the most accurate results you would want to do an exact search.

As far as keyword density, there's no difference in pay by keyword stuffing at up to 5%. The way the search engines are, anything around 2.5% will be just as effective for ranking.

A few other things about trying to keyword stuff is that it takes away the readabilty of the article and can turn people off from wanting to follow and read all of your content. Also, it makes it more difficult and time consuming to write/rewrite when you're always trying to get your keywords stuffed in there to meet a 5% density. It's a problem, especially when you're using rewriters and they're expected to try to meet a 5% density. Very few will be willing to do it at such a low pay rate.

@ tygrus - Nothing much new on that front which can be seen as a good thing. ;)

@ tattij - Both the Partner Calls and C4C's can be found in the assignment desk. When this thread was first started, the C4C's I was refering to are what they now refer to as Partner Calls. Now the C4C's are the lower paying assignments. Partner Calls pay a lot more, but you have to earn the right to have them offered to you. All of this has been discussed previously.

Red

Guys, on my last three articles, under AC's payment tab it says that payment has been made however no money has been paid to my paypal account, has this ever happened to naybody else? should i e-mail AC?

hi,
i want to offer a little encouragement for some of the struggling people out there.
I have had 57 out of my last 60 accepted. most offers were around $3, one as low as 2.67 but as high as $5.
That was my best two days yet!
i started getting 13/30 accepted then it got worse before it got better.
don't give up! get help! there are tons of people on this very thread that will answer questions but i recommend getting one on one help.
It has helped me the most.

good luck

I just wanted to say that anyone not doing keyword research should definitely start. In analyzing my accepted articles over my rejected ones, the ones that i did good keyword research for got the most money.

By good keyword research, i mean plugging your keyword into a keyword tool and getting some suggestions. I've uncovered very good niches that have high search volume in google, low competition in google and NO articles in A*C. I've found 5 niches like this already.

I wasnt sure whether A*C cared how much search volume a keyword received but red cleared that up for me in his post above. Even if the keyword has only 20 searches a month but has no articles written on it in the A*C library, you will probably get paid nicely for it. I haven't tried it yet but I'm going to write some articles on some lowly searched keywords with no results in A*C and post back what kind of offers I get.

@ xxxjack189 - If the articles were just reviewed and accepted yesterday or today, the money won't be paid to your Pay*pal until Friday. Also, do you have "auto-confirm" turned on in your user profile at AC?

@ showerhater - That's awesome! That's about the same rejection ratio I'm getting (about 5-6 rejected out of 100), so that's kicking some ass! I remember when we did that first session and knew you'de be able to get your upfront offers higher based on the quality of your rewriter, but getting up to $5.00 is excellent this early in the game. I'm glad the coaching has been helpful!

Keep it rockin :headbang:

@ tchashow - Glad it helped. Definitely, keyword research and the way you use them are a big part of the game. The research doesn't have to be anything fancy, but as long as you confirm that the keywords aren't already done to death at AC, and that there is some kind of interest in your keywords in G0ogle (even if it's rather low search volume), you know you're onto something good.

When I was doing all of my own scraping, I found that worrying "too much" about the researching of keywords added too much time to the process. In order to process 40 articles a day it was taking way too long. I found that quickly checking competition levels at AC and then confirming that there was some kind of search volume tended to work the best.

If I was only able to target keywords that had about 1K monthly searches, it would have made it a lot more time consuming getting 40 articles a day scraped. The slight (if any) difference in upfront offers didn't make the extra frustration and time spent on it worthwhile IMHO. If a person is working AC on a much smaller scale or doing all of the writing themselves, it may be worthwile to really dig deep into the research side of their keywords.

Cheers,

Red

edit: On an unrelated note...@ everyone - If you steal/pirate or try to work a trade deal for my Associated Content Guide you will get none of my bonuses or follow up support that legitimate buyers do. If you aren't willing to spend a few dollars to make a lot more money than you invested, shame on you.

Red - I have decided not to outsource the promotion of my articles in general (too risky) but instead to just outsource certain things like forum posting, craigslist ads, yahoo answers - I was wondering what would be an ideal amount to offer for someone to promote my articles on forums. I was thinking somewhere around $3 Per 50 Posts - does that sound about right - too little - too much? Also, I know that there are many things to consider that might make these numbers vary, but how many total views should I expect to gain out of 50 forum postings - given that the articles are only being promoted on forums with at least decent amounts of traffic - estimation of course and I completely understand if there is no way to even give an estimation on this number - just looking for a least amount I should expect

Thanks in advance

Hey Redtide
I have a question regarding AC and the paypal account , should i keep the same last name on ac for all fictional accts matching the paypal last name or it doesn't matter?

Thanks ;)

Hello once again. I tried using dupefree pro as redtide once mentioned about it before. I need to know what should be the "Minimum Length of Matching parts" in the program? By default its 4. Reducing the length decreases my rewrits uniqueness, I was wondering what should be the ideal length?

@prasenjit1857- red uses the default 4. i use 3 for extra precaution because I dont run my articles through copyscape

@ Anthraxx - It's probably for the better. it's also a fairly risky deal to entrust someone with your accounts like that. It may be better suited to a family member or friend or something. As far as forum posting and YA etc, the going rate tends to be 5-10 cents a post, but here's a list of sites similiar to GAF where you can hire people even more dirt cheap. Thanks go to Towerjunkie for his passing these on to me. Take out the *

online*jobs.ph
best*jobs.ph
fulltimea*ssistants.com

As far as the number of article hits you'll get for 50 posts, it's definitely hard to call. Your best bet would probably be YA. I've worked with it quite a bit and have pulled really good traffic out of it for CPA. If you pay a few other people to help you answer your own questions and quickly get your 250 pts needed to have your links clickable, you can have it on autopilot if you put in the work getting it setup with your outsourcers.

If you use your keyowrds in the title and question of the YA posts, yah00's pull in the SE's gets you right up to page 1-2 depending on the keywords competition in G00gle. The whole thing with YA is keeping your accounts alive which is made easier when you have a few people from different countries bouncing the questions and answers off of each other.

If you get a system down and have your outsourcers rolling, I would mix in some CPA offers (unrelated to AC posting) and get a few sales coming from that or affiliate sales. Just a thought :tee:

@ Brocation - Not a problem,

I always use completely different pen names at AC. If the reviewers take note that someone with the same last name is doing a lot of submitting on the same days, it's easy to raise a red flag that you're using multiple accounts.

Like I talk about in the book, as long as you're submitting decent articles (and you keep your rejections rates in check) they'll have no reason to dig deeper into your Paypal accts and see that the same name is attached to all AC accounts. With that said, always consider your AC accounts as disposable and have a few extra accounts setup and ready to go.

@ prasenjit1857 - I just leave it on the default of 4. If your dupe percentage is 15% or less on that setting, you know it will pass Copyscape.

Regards,
