The thread title pretty much sums it up. I will be doing the mother child (M/C) method on Instagram with consistent updates. Currently still deciding between which automation program to use, stuck between sharing tools & instadub. If you guys have any recommendations please do feel free to educate me as i am eager to learn.

Reason for this M/C method is so I can grow a marketing agency in hopes to offer services to potential clients within the music industry.
I'm currently decently educated in the basics for this method from the wonderful community we have at our fingertips here at BHW.

For those who don't already know what the M/C method is I'll break it down as simply as I possibly can below:
M/C involves multiple accounts, where 1 is the main (the mother) and the rest are the children accounts. The child accounts pushes traffic towards the mother account through automations such as follow/unfollow, liking, (hopefully) AI commenting/DM'ing.

I'm really excited to see how this goes and have high hopes for this :)

Good luck, mate. I would recommend you use up to 3 scrapers per child account.
Scrapers will make the necessary API calls on behalf of the child accounts to keep them under the radar.

Check out @susocial bot :) can be overwhelming at first but definitely worth it!
Actually yes I should definitely check them out, I noticed they also have a free trial at the moment so I'm for sure gonna test the features for the next few days and see how i feel

And heres the man from susocial himself ahahah, I highly appreciate your reply and advice. I'll definitely be adding multiple scrapers per child account but one thing that I haven't really thought through is whether or not i should add the parent into the automation or if i should just keep it completely out of all automations (and not add the profile on susocial at all) This way i can have the child accounts direct the followers towards the parent account through mentions, profile links, mass dm, and story mentions too. (at least this was my thought process)

Since you are doing mother/child, there's no need to do automation on the main account and therefore no need to add it to your automation software.

Awesome, I'll update you with my experience as I start moving forward. Have already got portable edition as will be moving consistently between machines. That factor is definitely a huge plus with susocial not gonna lie. Other programs like Instadub are restricted to a certain number of machines, with them i believe its like 3 machines or so. Im so pumped for this hahahaha

Hey! Just saw your message in my journey thread.

Good luck on this if you need help with the scrapping let me know I understand how hard this journey can become.
Hope to see many updates on this!

Thank you too all the people who have wished me luck on this Journey. It has been (to say the very least) a difficult process to learn. There were days where i honestly gave up entirely and other days where i went full focus mode reading multiple sources and forums here or watching clips by Dr Jarvee for breakdowns.

Without any further adieu here are the updates to my journey so far:
  • If you are thinking of getting into M/C, please please do note it is not easy and is not an overnight process. I fell into this trap. On the other hand, it is DEFINITELY WORTH learning something new and facing these challenges, in due time this will be worth it if done correctly. (at least thats what many have said)
  • On the SuSocial side of things. The interface is VERY overwhelming as it comes with a LOT of options (if anything maybe the most actions out of any program there is, this is not factual this is assumption) That does not make my review on SuSocial negative however. The fact that there are so many options within SuSocial makes it PERFECT for people who want full control over their automations, actions, and action blocks etc. It has AI features from what i've read and seen online and the Free Trial was a HUGE bonus to me as I at least got to learn the product before actually deciding to go through with it. I reached the point of also using scrapers to gather data (this was definitely the harder point of everything) but ran into many fails due to not using proxies (yes i know im meant to use proxies please don't mention me for this, i do know these are a requirement for the scrapers to function correct). If you'd like to know how this went, well it went great! i used 3 accounts with my own custom automations, i was doing follow unfollow, like on recent posts, view story. Now enough throwing up onto this forum and onto the next update.
  • I've decided I still want to try out Sharing Tools. The only reason is because the interface does look a lot easier for me to get around and because I want to be able to actively compare all the features it comes with to SuSocial. This way I can make a final decision on which version I prefer.

Just a quick mention for whoever is here to see which product is better: Regardless of the decision of which product i land on, it does NOT make one or the other better as this is just a personal preference. I have seen multiple of both products getting outstanding results with the right amount of work.
Will release another update on my experience once I have tested sharing tools.

TLDR:
  • M/C hard, but not as hard as....
  • Susocial WOW, too many choice, but very nice *borat voice*.
  • Now we test sharing tools

You might want to take this thread to My Journey Discussion forum bro. Instagram is also relevant but "My Journey Discussion" is the right forum for this.

P.S. - Best of luck on this bro. And be aware, Instagram is a little strict these days, especially with new accounts. They suspend them pretty quickly

Final Update:

So I have been playing around with sharing tools for a few days now and I can say that it was exactly what I was looking for. Their features were beyond my expectations and the simplicity of access and use was incredible. Everything is cloud based on sharing tools, so if I'm on the go (which I pretty much always am) it makes it a LOT easier to access and make changes to your accounts. They also allow you to use as many scrapers as you want without adding to the account limit (just like SuSocial).
From here forth I have decided to go with sharing tools for this project due to the ease of access and simple interface. Guys as I mentioned before, if you KNOW what you are doing and usually spend lots of time at a computer, then SuSocial will definitely be a better option as it has a LOT to offer with the correct settings.

In conclusion to this entire thread I would like to say that this has been an amazing journey to say the very least.
Learning about scrapers was the hardest part in my personal experience as I just couldn't come to terms with how another account gathers data for the first (yeah I know. basic knowledge for some lol)
I'd like to thank everyone who had contributed to this forum and helped me out with all the steps that guided me to what I wanted to learn.
To those who are considering learning the M/C method themselves, I encourage you to do it. It will take a few days but it will be so rewarding.

We’ll meet again, don’t know where, don’t know when, but I know we’ll meet again some sunny day! - Bill Cypher
