hey guys,
if I have a pre-ready list of scraped targeted users i want to interact with. and im running phone automtion M/C.
my model i work with she's from the US .

Can i just purchase cheap mobile proxy (mabye indian or other cheap one) and run the childs on it? instead buy expensive US mobile proxy.
I would like to understand if it matter.

When you do actions, then it is important to keep the IP in the similar Geographic area. If one device is doing actions in the USA and another device is doing actions in London, then the account will get flagged.

Proxy plays a significant role in determining which country your content will be distributed to. You cannot use a proxy from country A if you want to target country B.

In addition, device location, IMEI, SIM, and generally device info also affect this.

Yeah, proxy location matters a lot—if your model's US-based, using Indian proxies for child accounts can raise flags and hurt trust scores. Best to match geo to keep things smooth and avoid unnecessary bans.

in my opinion m/s method just like mass dm is already dead. ofc you can get results but not like before. it stopped when instagram made the update of MARCH 2024 regarding the advanced spam filter. every comment, every dm gets in the spam filter and hidden. so do your math

Yes, you can run child accounts on cheaper non-US mobile proxies (like Indian ones), but keep in mind it does matter — especially for trust score and how Instagram flags behavior.

If your model is US-based and the accounts are suddenly interacting from a completely different geo, it may trigger suspicion or reduce reach. That said, many do run global proxies to cut costs, just make sure you're warming up properly, keeping actions low at first, and mixing in human-like behavior.

If you're scaling hard or want more stability, investing in geo-matching proxies (US for US model) will usually give better long-term results.

Yeah, it matters. Running U.S.-based childs on non-U.S. proxies (like India) raises red flags fast. Geo mismatch = trust issues. Better to invest in mid-tier U.S. mobile proxies for stability.

The best move really is to test a few child accounts with cheaper proxies first and monitor how they perform. If they hold up, you’re good to scale from there.

Yes, proxy location for child accounts does matter, especially if you're targeting a US-based audience and your main model is in the US. Using cheap mobile proxies from other regions like India can raise geographic inconsistencies. While it won’t instantly trigger bans, it does hurt your trust score, reach, and may get you more soft blocks or reduced impressions.
If your goal is to maintain high deliverability and engagement, US mobile proxies are highly recommended for geo-matching. If you’re on a tight budget, at least try to stay within the same region (e.g., North America) and avoid running too many child accounts on the same IP to reduce risk of linking.
