Anyone into this stuff?
You spend 8 hours a day sleeping. That's 1/3rd of your day.
1/3rd of your life is down the gutter.
Unless... you make use of those 8 hours. Lucid dreaming.
I've only had a few lucid dreams. One of them I can recall vividly:
I was swimming underwater and I tried to breathe. I didn't want to breathe because I knew I'd drown, but I just took a breath and I started breathing underwater. At this point, I became self-aware and my lucid journey starts. I climb out of the pool, take a few steps, and start flying. I'm flying over my neighborhood, but somehow I am limited to it. I drop off at my school and I see all my friends. Their personalities are different. They have changed because I wanted them to change. Perfect world. Then I somehow appear at a completely different place, some sort of a field. I don't remember how I get there. I try moving, but I can't. At that point I started panicing and I woke up.
Then I just sat there for 5 minutes thinking to myself "holy shit that was amazing. if i could do this every night.... the things i'd do"
My question to those who are experienced in lucid dreaming is... Do you remember the little details in your dreams? Such as the feel of concrete, pain, etc. And do you lucid dream every night?
I'm interested more than ever in lucid dreaming now. It's awesome because even when you're self-aware in your dreams, it still feels real.
"Dreams feel real while we're in them. It's only when you wake up that you realize something was actually strange."
