Low self-confidence

Hello all,
I'm 17 years old and have a very low self confidence. When i'm outside or with people whp I don't know well I feel uncomfortable and start blushing most of the time. Everything in my head flips and i can't talk properly. Any help?

You're still 17, mate, so no need to get to take it to your head just yet.
You're still young and this would the ideal time to make or break your social anxiety for the coming future, so my advice is do what I did when I was around 20 and forced to become an extrovert:

First learn to listen to people around you, and I mean like really, really listen to them-they'll love you for it and you'll learn a ton about people in general and how similar we all really are.


Secondly, when around people you don't know all that well, the best thing is the "ASK QUESTIONS" approach. That means, again, when you meet them, ask them about themselves(people love talking about themselves more than anything).

Keep in mind, you have no need to impress, control or manipulate anyone around you, bud. For introverts, the best place to start is by going outside more. It's good you asked this question because believe me when I tell you in the next coming decade or so, communication will become a valuable skill seeing as just how many people would rather hide behind screens than actively pursue relationships with others.
 
Start meditating, workout, sleep ~8 hours a day, get enough sunlight.

Now what you have is probably social anxiety, and if you want to overcome it you need to go out of your comfort zone frequently, but take baby steps. List situations which make you anxious ordered from least to most anxious and start tackling easier ones first and gradually move to more stressing situations. The more you do it, the better you become at it.

If really needed talk to therapy and/or take medicine.
 
Being in class is already too much. When I'd have to speak for all my classmates, I'd blush, can't think and just say random shit. I'm too shy

Check out nofap. Porn fucks up the dopamine system for a lot of people making them more prone to depression and anxiety.
 
The more you do something, the easier it gets.
Socialise more, join new groups, don't be afraid of embarrassing yourself.
Other peoples opinions can be important but none are more important than the way you see/feel yourself.
Lots of people suffer from shyness, you can get over it but you have to push yourself and face your fear.

I was you at 17. In my case acne fucked me up, but heres thing or two that can help-
-Always keep in mind that people are not enemy nor friends. They are just like you. So just keep the head up with a slight smile and do your thing.
-If a person you don't know strike a conversation with you, analyse the conversation and interact along with it. No shy and don't be a poser.
-Act as you are, that's what make you cooler and you can come up any things to do with your life and not feel low all the time, know what i am saying.

Everybody is depressed and had/have low self esteem at some point, I still fight acne and depression but don't tryna dig deep into it, Instead spread love if you can or just lead your way to normal life.
 
You're just 17, things will workout before your 19. If they won't, read any of Roosh V's books. Though focusing on game, they will help instill the right mindset. In the meantime, get a fresh hair cut.
 
As some said - go on nofap.

I've the same problem and what I recently found is hypnosis to be a really good tool for me. Also, not staying the whole day in front of PC or any kind of technology also helped me.

i have a friend that he is 38 and still is like this , so not all people are the same , at 17 i was mad totally mad but i had and this in a corner of my self

I got acne too which is a main problem of my social anxiety.
