Low reach REELS new account

Hey everyone,


I’m managing several OF models and I’m running into a problem I just can’t figure out — I’ve tested nearly everything.



Here’s the situation:


When I started the reels I had one account that blew up organically — 30K followers in just 3 weeks. Every Reel was popping, starting with 5K+ reach on the first one.


But now, none of my new accounts go past 100 views on the first Reel.


I’m using multiple fresh devices, different IPs, proxies, VPN routers (GL.iNet + TorGuard WireGuard, mobile proxies, etc.) — I’ve tested a full range of setup.



What I’ve tried:

• Creating new IG accounts on clean iPhones (reset + factory + new Apple ID) even new iPhone.
• Using both residential VPN + mobile proxies
• Logging from USA IPs + spoofed GPS (AnyGo)

Still: first Reel = 0 to 100 views. Max.


It’s like some of these accounts are soft limited from day 1.


Questions I’m trying to solve:


Is device ban real on Instagram or just placebo?

Should I continue posting on 100-view accounts or just trash them and start over?

((When I see that before, on my old accounts, I had at least 500 views on the first reel, I tell myself that I'm wasting my time with accounts that get less than 100 views on the first reel.))

What setup should I use to have an optimized process for achieving good accounts with strong vitality potential? (IP


Some people say: “Just keep creating until you hit the right account”


Others say: “Meta isn’t that strict, you can grow anything with good content.”



If anyone has real insight, I’d love to hear your thoughts.


Happy to test more setups and share results if you guys are interested.

I also wish to avoid creating with a local SIM card because my models do not want to appear in the Argentine audience. (I am also based in Argentina with them)

That sort of thing seems to be happening a lot lately, even with relatively clean setups. Would seem as though some kind of soft cap is hitting new accounts on the adult niche, almost like their being sandboxed.
As for device ban, it's real (sort of). It's more like device flagging which is different. Mostly, you can chalk it up to a combination of IP history, the actual device's fingerprint, app access behaviour including logins, that sort of thing. You could expect even iPhones fresh off the shelf to encounter similar issues if one or more other factors trip up Meta's system.
For the view side of things, if that stays flat after 3 to 5 posts, you'd usually scrap those. Though sometimes they randomly wake up after a few posts, so if the content is solid, maybe give them a few more tries before showing them the bin.
Let's see, if you want to avoid geotagging entirely, it'd be best to stick with mobile proxies (you can find providers here on the Marketplace section) + the spoofed GPS and timezone sync for best results. Most of any VPN you pick up isn't value for this sort of thing, partly because the IPs they provide are widely known as VPN IPs so platforms treat them quite differently. Good for casual use and getting around geo-restricted content browsing, not ideal for anything more than that though not on IG especially.

It's normal. It's extremely difficult to grow accounts now. You hardly go viral and when you do, you may not see as much Followers as before.

Just keep posting, that's the only solution.

Take a look into Real device automation and use a Mother/Child setup.

Some swear by a full factory reset, personally I do feel like it helps but not enough on it's own. It really depends on how IG goes about their tracking and for sure they have some device-level identifiers which don't really change unless you're physically on a different device, it survives resets as you can imagine. That said it's other factors that's the real kicker when it comes to these things, mostly what I already mentioned when they usually flag accounts plus SIM info and other considerations even. If you do plan on factory resets, pair it up with new IPs, fresh account setups, entirely clean network environment basically.

Instagram favors content that generates interactions, so if your reels have few likes, comments or shares, they are less likely to be viral

Yeah, Instagram really does track users at the device level, and just doing a factory reset won’t wipe out the deeper hardware fingerprints they use to flag accounts. If you drop your first Reel and it barely scrapes 100 views, even though the content is fire, just scrap the account. Low trust scores from the jump will have your reach stuck in the mud forever. Instead, play it smart: use a clean setup with rooted or virtual devices, legit 4G mobile proxies from U.S. carriers, and let your accounts “warm up” for at least 3 days before you even think about posting. Drop your first Reel around 3 AM EST with a trending U.S. sound and make sure your hook hits hard in the first 2 seconds. Also, do not use Argentine SIMs. Stick to eSIMs or remote SIM banks that match the geo you’re targeting.

Hey I have the exact same thing. I have been using 7/8 accounts on one phone for the last month. Only two accounts became viral, I managed to get 3 days 500-800k views before restrictions. Trying currently on new accounts, but views get to 3000-5000 and stop and some posts stopped at 500 views. A friend of mine created a new account yesterday inserted some reels and today he has a total of 100k views and each reel is gaining new views fast despite having very poor quality content. I think this is random because before my one account went viral previously 3 accounts could not gain views and were banned. However, I was already using too many accounts on one device and one ip and want to embrace it now.

PS. My friend previously opened probably 4/5 accounts on this device and got banned on all of them for "account integrity" so his device should be flagged Yesterday he set up another one and is getting views. He himself said that one account was gaining views and the other not randomly.
