In most cases, a low bounce rate is good. This is because bounce rate refers to the percentage of your visitors who land on your website and then exit without looking at any more pages (aka 'bouncing'). It therefore gives a good indication of the relevance and quality of your website from your visitors' perspective. A (low) bounce rate of 10 percent means that just 1 out of 10 people 'bounced' whereas a (high) bounce rate of 90% means that 9 out of 10 people bounced. A low bounce rate is good because visitors are more likely to view more pages and, in turn, click on your ads or fulfill other monetisation goals.
