I am based in Brazil and need to avoid the taxes associated with advertising on Meta (here, we call it the "tax of love"). If I buy a US profile and use a US proxy and an international card, can I pull this off? And how does the tax situation work? Is it enough to simply issue an invoice, or do I need to set up a US company? My monthly ad spend exceeds $20,000 USD.

at $20k+/month, just using a us profile with a US proxy and non-US card will trigger meta’s BIN and GEO mismatch flags fast, risking instant bans. the clean way to bypass local VAT/taxes legally is setting up a US LLC with an EIN to open a US meta agency/business manager account and issue legitimate invoices, or simply rent a high-limit agency account that already handles tax exemption and billing infrastructure for you

It’s very easy, you can visit the "Account Selling / Renting Services" section of the forum to rent an account. This allows you to avoid tax, as the account owner is responsible for paying the relevant taxes. There are many reputable providers there that have been vetted by the administrators be sure to check carefully and contact them via the links at the bottom of the post.

You can rent accounts in order to do this.

A US profile won't eliminate your tax obligations. Taxes are usually based on your business location and billing details. At $20k+/month, consulting a tax professional is the safest approach.

Avoiding taxes this way is quite complicated now; you need a US phone number for continuous verification, otherwise you have to prepare many accounts to avoid account deactivation scans from Meta.

Your choice of country for your advertising account will determine whether or not you have to pay taxes.
Your choice of where to run your ads will determine whether or not you have to pay geographic fees.

At that level of ad spend, I’d focus on building a compliant business structure rather than trying to change account locations. The savings from avoiding taxes can easily be outweighed by the risk of account issues if the setup doesn’t match the actual business. Getting proper tax and legal advice is usually the better long-term investment.
