lost my memory WTF?

My grandfather had it, he died 2 years ago, I didn't fully understand it until I went to visit him and he didn't know who I was.

Its fucking horrible to watch, I would not wish it on anyone. I'm sorry to hear your sister is having issues, thats tough.

But... assuming OP is telling the truth, there are many more reasons as to why he forgot everything for 10 seconds or so.

Last month I woke up on a park bench in a town 40 miles from where I live and I didn't know WTF happened, how I got there, what happened or anything else.

I fell asleep with my head the opposite end of the bed one day and felt really disillusioned. It happens.

Theres 50 different causes of this, don't freak him out telling him hes going to suffer....

PS. I still don't believe OP. In 10 seconds he woke up, didn't know who he was, what country he was in, where he was or what happened and 10 seconds later it all came back. Nah man, BS.

One thing you have overlooked with your "highly analytical mind" and your "Bullshit Detector"
is the fact that Alzheimers/Dementia often involve TIME DISTORTION. In other words, the
experience of what feels like ten seconds could actually be ten minutes or even longer. On
the other hand, what feels like one month, could actually be a day or a few hours. That happens
to my sister quite often.

Dementia - my mom had it as well, passed away 2012 on my birthday
so sad to watch a person with so much life go down hill that fast
even at 67 2 years prior she was as sharp and witty as me at 45
hard thing to take care of some one final 2years and me misses
did everyday, u see good bad and the crap, but i promise myself
1 thing, ill carry her moto everyday. be fair to others, take no shit
and do your bit, leave the rest for the garbage .

Doesn't sound good (if its not a troll post). Did it happen often?

But yeah, as others said, go visit a physician asap :(

I hope all is well man

Here's an amazing exercise that help prevent Alzheimer and even help people in its early stage: (sorry for my english)

Go out for a walk.. no destination .. just walk .. and while you are walking pay attention to every place, try to remember it the best you can!.. Like taking a mental picture. Also try to remember the circuit that you are doing.
A study has shown that even 30 minutes of this practice every day can prevent Alzheimer in people in your situation (family history).

Hope it helps! Take care

Sometimes the mind can play games with us. I had a dream once that i miss a test and was in a bad mood for couple of minutes before i realised i had the test 2 weeks ago :D Go to the doctor just in case and google some alternative dementia treating protocols . My granddad's brother treated his alzheimer with milk+turmeric+black pepper recepie with great success. Hope this helps. Best of luck i am sure everything will be OK :)

You dont want to worry, when you were in deep sleep you were living with your superconscious mind suddenly when you wake up, we dont know where we are, who we are etc...but it will take few seconds to be back to normal stage. do proper meditations, yogas and exercise will bumb more bloods to your brain will restore your conscious mind immediately after your sleep

My Mother is Alzheimers/Anxiety Patient So I know how it feels like when every day you have to face someone with questions like "Who are you, I wanna go home, etc."
I suggest go to Doctor Right away. Not a Single second delay. discuss. It might be just stress that your mind was not working well, but not take any risk.

OMG this is some serious stuff, maybe its partying consequonces?

Do you have a carbon monoxide detector in your home, OP?

Wow that is really scary. Never happened to me but u better go check eith ur nearest clinic

Oh, that's sad man!
You should go and check your doctor immediately without taking second thoughts!
