Lost in Life - Help?

You should apply for a full time or part time job in order to be active and then apply to the uni.
You will also know with this that is not really easy to get a job or to make money.
Start your LinkedIn profile only with the truth. It will help you later if you need a quick CV.
You will become a different person after completing it. 6000€ with the same amount you can pay 2 years in a private uni in Portugal.

I went through a Ted talk yesterday, which said Radiology would be one of the first things to go when AI comes along (Within 15 years)

Sounds like me years ago. Dropped out of uni. Twice. Lost. But determined to find my own way, even though I didn't really know what that meant.
Looking back now, I can only echo the cliche of "life is the best teacher", and think fondly back on all my fuck-ups and twists and turns.. It made me. The bad and good. All of it.
Feeling lost is a neccesary step towards feeling "found", so to speak.
I was, as most of us were, an ignorant kid when I entered uni. Who the fuck knows themselves at that age? Most people who don't feel completely lost at some point, have never truly reflected on what they want.
Got no advice for you, but there has been some great answers in the thread! Good luck onwards!

So yeah, the title says everything.
(ps: idk if this is in the right section, if not i'm sorry)
I've been a follower of this forum for quite a while now, and I see a lot of good opinions in here so that's why I'm "exposing" myself now... I need honest opinions.

Last month I dropped out of uni, I was studying Radiography and honestly I hated it. Idk why I joined the course in first place but yeah. Now I'm stuck.

1st choice -> I can enter Uni next year again but in a Business course, I think I would like, but then when I start thinking... I really like the Business part of things etc, but I never created something or won money from something I did. I do have some good ideas but I never know how and where to start, oh and I don't have the money.

2nd choice -> Enter a Programming Bootcamp in Portugal for 14 weeks and don't go to the uni. Never programmed but I'm really intrigued to do it. I just don't know where to start and how again. The downside of this bootcamp is, it cost 6000eur... I don't know if it's worth wasting that amount of money...

3rd choice -> Cry in the corner until someone slaps me in the face and I wake up being rich.

I just don't know what to do, or what I would like to pursue for life...

Thanks to all in advance.

Option four may be take a step back, breath and try to see things with perspective. As you said, you feel like you're lost, so first thing first: get back on track. Ask yourself, and not only to the forum, the questions that can bring you to a mental place were you feel motivated and confident. Questions are a big tool, try to ask yourself something, your brain, hearts or guts will reply to you. You just have to listen carefully, the answers you're looking for are probably there, not here in BHW.

if you don't know what you want to do/be, im afraid no one can help you. I always suggest young people to do what they like and put 100% in it.

The only way to find out what u may like is to try different things and thats what being young is all about. Try new things, see what works for you. Once you find something u like, give your 100%.

Don't over-think and believe in yourself is most important.

I was the lost for a period of time before and after I dropped out of uni. Got a manual labor job at a golf course for 3 years. Didn't even make enough to live on basically. But goddamn was I happy working outside and with my hands for those 3 years. That happiness and self confidence I gained, in hindsight, was worth a lot more than I gave credit. I'm not saying you should do the same thing, but a switch up in lifestyle helped me in the long run.

Hi, im 24, i have got depression disorder, im actually abusing of drugs also, ive got a hard job but well payed, a GF, a car...
I rarely feel happy, most coomon sadness and loss of interest of everything. I had a hard life but i just dont know why im like this.
What i know, is that when im not too depressed i keep on searching my way to happiness, and i always go to the same place for that BHW.

What i wanted to say is that i waste lot of time that i could spend here reading and searching a good way to happiness/Money/Life...
Dont do the same as me and stay focused and dont spread yourself too much, everything else will come, trust me.

Sorry for my english as is not my mother tongue. Wish you the best.
