Lost all enthusiasm, No idea what to do next.

This isn't a sob story but I need to give a little background. In 2014 I had to give up work due to health reasons, I fought everyday to get fitter and became a self employed scrapman in 2016 (no one would employ me as I still had health problems). I enjoyed the work but in 2019, had to stop as my health was getting worse again - I won't be able to do a normal job ever again. I looked for online work but to put it bluntly, I could be ok one minute, 5 minutes later, curled up in pain, I'm also losing my hearing, so no one would employ me.

I started a website selling sex toys and realised that this is a very hard (pun intended) market to break into, so I switched to someone easier, the supplier went bust, so I found another dropshipper, who then put their prices up so high, that you could buy everything cheaper on eBay or Amazon than their wholesale price. I changed dropshipper again and in October after many comments from people, changed my domain name as I was still using my sex toys domain. I didn't think it would be so much work but as well as changing all my social media accounts, I had to start link building again, which in some ways was a blessing as someone spammed my site with crap links.

8 months on, I'm making approx one sale a month and making £10 approx on that sale. I've rewriiten all my product descriptions so they aren't the same as everyone else who dropships, worked hard at link building and guestposts and as much as possible that requires little money as I have none. I did have an SEO specialist who worked on my site for 2 hours a month - that was all I could afford, now due to everything going up in price, I cannot even afford that.

I really don't know what to do now, as I mentioned, I have no money, I don't want to be rich but I would like to be able to treat my wife and kids every now and again. I just feel like I have failed. Sorry for the rant.

Living in a world that is constantly changing and evolving is challenging. Especially if you wanna get your foot in the door when it comes to making money online. In the last few days i've seen quite a few people open up such threads which gives me the feeling that a lot more people than i expect go through a difficult time right now. And i would lie if i say that i am not one of them.

One thing you can always do is read the forum here. There are tons of ideas and new things you can try out. Don't expect instant results but really put your alot of your time into it. Do not waste it by watching Youtube or anything. Really learn the ins and outs of it. Next thing is to stay positive. Everyone has difficult times. We all go through them and its shitty. But keep in mind that shitty times only last if you are not doing anything. If you are actively trying then someday you will get success.

So keep trying, don't give up and stay positive.

Nowadays , you need to renew yourself, change with the times .
Nothing is difficult and no pain/no gain .
Keep it up , try your best then you will get the best result bro .

You must take everything positive out of the experience so far and leave the negative points to the wind.

If its taken you that long to get to £10 a month, that's not too bad at all. Its a starting point, and proof of concept. You just have to figure out either somehow how to increase this revenue channel or go after another. Anything worthwhile takes time, so study the methods people talk about on bhw, and look for something else to compliment your auto income now.

Would you complain if you had 100 channels of £10 a month? That would be nice, considering you probably do minimum work by the times its finished to keep it maintained. Its only then you really have a business. Its not about the revenue channels, its about the plans, and the money.

You have the money now, you just need to consolidate your knowledge of what it took to get there and and apply that in days rather than years, (which you can do easily by being more focused and organized) and make a better plan to follow.

I have an income stream that I just managed to reach $1 roughly a day on, and I have been on the platform for over 10 years. However, I can see the potential now, as I've just let the money accumulate rather than scale it up. Now I have a better process for this opportunity in place, and already my daily efforts in this area are paying off, and I hope to get it to a $30 a day in about 6-8 months of 3-4 hours a day, now that I made the decision to do that. Then I can afford to hire someone to work my process and I can work them too and double up in quicker time.

I'm not really that different from you in regards to the income stream you have. I just have a good vision of whats possible (as I'm making sure I outperform those on the platform already) and I have a plan of what I need to do every day.

Once you can plan out the numbers and start imagining your goals. Then you may as well try to work and succeed as you did most of the work already!

You have decent writing skills. Why don't you write for some clients? That will give stable monthly earnings.

To get that enthusiasm back, see if you can find someone to work with in a JV, it is a lot more fun to work together with someone. Just my 2 cents for you.

I cannot imagine the struggle you are going through...you are already a hero in my eyes just because you are trying and didn't give up. So big respect for that. Making money online these days is not as difficult as it was before. My suggestion is look into ChatGPT and all the unlimited possibilities you can use it to make money. ChatGPT is much more than an AI tool that generates content based on prompts.

Starting a business online with zero investment is very hard to lift off unless you are willing to put in the dedication for months and months without expecting any return in the first year or two. Like starting an youtube channel or a blog. If you want to get cash faster, you would have to look for freelancing gigs like Upwork. I know few people who are doing this full-time and make a decent living out of it. There are also online language teaching platforms where you can teach other English and get paid for it.

The one advice that I can give you is if you don't have pressure of making money asap, then start a blog. Choose a niche that you are passionate about, do keyword research, target low competition keywords in the beginning and post at least 3 super researched articles a day. Ideally with awesome pictures and videos created by you. This would be like a full-time job. Do this consistenty and in year I promise you, you will start making good money! Get those 1000+ articles live and then you talk business. Focus on what your hobbies/passion is. Why? Because this is key in keeping you motivated to succeed, not sex toys. Forget link building. Focus on link building when you can invest at least $1000 a month for a year at least.
