Yup exactly. Played it for fun only ( Rs. 100 )... Never gambled seriously and I was expecting the money to be lost... but then I won $2 ( Rs50 per $ at that time) after spending $1 and got greedy... then I lost everything ultimately... haha

wow a bigger idiot than me - I dropped about $2000 on the world cup when australia lost 3-2 to Netherlands. I had all my money on neth winning by 2 or more goals at about $1.40.
It was from winnings in the account, not money from my bank, so just numbers really but I was still pretty pissed off at my countrymen for not rolling over.

I am good at black jack but will never play in the casino because I know the house always has the advantage. They are there to make money not lose it.

I enjoy betting on football, purely long odds accumulators - 50/1 and above - and when they land (infrequently) they feel sweet.
I have never understood the fascination with casinos. No offence to anyone here but the majority are not the Bond movie image in the movies instead they're filled with mostly the sort of scummy people who look like they'd sell their mum and the Chinese. The general atmosphere is one of total desperation.
When I was a kid bookies would be filled with old men smoking roll ups staking 10p a race, even that was a better atmosphere than your average casino.
