Hi everyone,
So I have finished university for the year and am wanting to keep my skills fresh so am wanting to do some small web dev projects to keep my mind buzzing. I am more motivated doing things if they are for other people which is why I am posting on this thread. I have 4 years experience in HTML/CSS, 2 years in PHP/MYSQL and have been working with/learning Javascript/AJAX/jQuery for the last 6 months. I also have 2 years experience in Java but I don't think I will be using that in web development so will be using the Object Oriented programming concepts from there with PHP.
I am willing to do this for free but I'll only do 5 projects at once, so that the projects can be done within a reasonable timeframe. A backlink linking to my web development site will do me alot of good, and your "project" will be in my portfolio (which I intend on posting to Twitter, Facebook etc once each project is done).
I was thinking of doing some free SEO, but I am already doing enough of that at the moment and I feel I need to concentrate more on enhancing my experience as a web developer, as that has been my chosen career path for 4 years now.
If you are interested, feel free to PM me with your project ideas and I will let you know if I am capable of doing them (I have enough programming experience to learn as I go, and this is especially the case with AJAX and jQuery). I want to help you all out for everything I have learned on here for the last 20 months and in turn help myself build a portfolio that a potential employer/customer will be pleased with. Once I have built a substantial portfolio I am thinking of putting a BST thread on here, but want to build some credibility first.
