Yeah, using a crowdfunding platform would be best to get this going, as once you've got capital ready it'll be a lot easier to progress.
Although, don't take this the wrong way, but it's unlikely you're going to get much attention if all you're bringing to the table is the idea and need to source out everything else (capital, developers, etc). Ideas alone aren't really valuable these days, so unless you have something else to bring to the table (e.g. industry experience, contacts to market the apps, etc) it might not be worth pursuing the idea of founding a mobile app company just yet.
