Seriously, Recently I hosted a website in Dreamhost after doing a thorough research on the internet. I have found that service as the genuine and reliable one. Don't know what is going to happen in future. In this case I would recommend for some local hosting service whom you can contact on an instant basis. There is no other option because the reputed ones have too many problems. Godaddy, Hostgator etc etc.

I have no problem with DreamHost customer service. My problem is on the technical side with the slow response time and frequent downtime. Whenever I have a problem, which seems too often, customer service is very nice and helpful. The support ticket response is slow sometimes, but their Twitter response is very fast. That being said, I just don't like having so much downtime on my site.

Use VPS this way you will avoid downtimes. Since I tried this i don't have any problems with my speed. I sign with bulletproofvps(dot)com, it's a very good quality of service.

What about a hosting service that will tolerate autoblogs? So far I have been shut down by host gator and one other company (can't remember the name atm). Anyone have any success hosting autoblogs?

I like bulletproofvps(dot)com much better than other providers I've used before. I am sure you're not gonna regret if you choose them.

Most of the companies you listed belong to the same parent company i.e EIG, so basically you would be signing up for the same company. Check out EIG's wikipedia page to check the full list of companies owned by them. For better performance, I recommend VPS Hosting, check out the marketplace to find a good deal.
