Looking for Knowledge On P2e or Blockchain games

Hey everyone, if someone could answer this, I would be very grateful - Why are all Blockchain games and p2e games on browser instead of downloading them - The part of that game that is part of the Blockchain is just the assets, so why can't you download the game you create on Computer, Xbox, or Mobile instead of playing on an internet browser like chrome, which always seams to be slow - I feel like if you download the game like you do for XBOX 1 games it will run smoother instead of playing on an internet browser.

Please correct me if i'm wrong - I'm dying to know

This is because all the data for the blockchain games is hosted on the blockchain itself, and is transferred to the browser using web3.js or other compatible libraries. It is not a normal server/client setup that happens on the blockchain. In fact, there is no server for most blockchain-based games. The front end runs on the client and the backend data is directly delivered from the blockchain. On top of that this blockchain connection happens through extensions or through compatible browsers only. There is no direct connection between the blockchain and the front-end client. This setup is possible only through compatible browsers/extensions at present.
