Looking for advice on driving Adult traffic!

Last few months in adult, sales have died down considerably. It could be summer or just the industry is falling out, at least from an affiliate standpoint since some of the bigger sites own the bigger tgps and tube sites

the summer slowdown is sure to affect things. overall all my own sales continue to grow as i continue to build, my sales on existing sites haven't died down any more than i had expected for summer. however google shuffling over the last week or so has cost me some key positions which i'm sure are going to cost me if i can't pull them back where they belong. sales will continue to drop on the large scale though, and with the way the future of adult is looking now. i wouldn't consider it a great long term investment unless something seriously changes soon...

There's got to be a faster way to make money in adult. No one wants to let it out though... even I can't reveal my method because in 20 minutes it would be taken over and I wouldn't make shit. I really wish I could share it with everyone but it's literally the easiest way I have ever made money, and it cost me nothing, and I put about 30 minutes a day into it. I am only telling you all this just to point out that fast, easy and free can be done, I know there's got to be other ways out there. Fuck working hard, that's why I do black hat, Jack.

Yeah, it's funny to ask someone else to reveal their method when I wont but I will still ask... is there anyone out there that has given up adult completely and want to spill the beans on your easy and fast methods of making decent to big money on porn? Come on now, it's for the good of man...

Sounds more like you mentioned this to brag somewhat, and I'm sure by now your PM box will be filling up with people asking you how you make your $$$ in porn.

Anyways, like ANY other online venture, porn can be very profitable through promoting the right niche, the right traffic, etc., just like any other mainstream venture. The single most important aspect to realize is that once you treat it like a business, building on what you built the day before, you will eventually have a nice empire that brings in money daily on autopilot. Any adult or mainstream marketer will gladly tell you this.

Another potential traffic source is yout*ube

You will find a lot of posts on how you can go about doing this in this forum. people are getting substantial traffic since this is pretty much the biggest video site. the key is to use softcore keyword and video content and watermark the video or add your url to the description field. Some say you should only upload ~10 videos per yt account and move on to the other.

On top of this, submitting to the major porn tube sites do bring it a good amount of targeted traffic as well.

I have mixed feelings about posting this but there is still a niche of sites that converts very well, ethically its not something I personally would want to touch - think about it like this: When people get numb to things, or its free, they don't buy. I got out of porn when I started seeing girls hanging out in strip clubs.. at any rate. Russian rape sites still pull in huge amounts of members. The content is all simulated ( I hope ) but its something you will not run into and the curiosity factor reels them in. Billing is sketchy. But its like the movie 'HOSTEL' - people are curious and they pay big money for it.

Gay sites still convert really well, and are great for revshare deals because members stick around for a long time. bedfellow.com converts incredibly well. Tranny stuff has been mentioned already. Fetish stuff in general does well if you know where to get the traffic..

Also the MET-ART affiliate program does well too, their content creeps me out a bit as they look a little too young, but they have been around for a long time so I guess they are on the level.

well i just can say there ISNT a way. so probably nobody are going to tell you just buy traffic at xyz.com and you will make some revenue.

and EVEN IF someone found a good reseller of traffic ( which are mostly private guys because the companies like trafficholder are sending blind traffic which will never ever converts) he wont tell you his connections.

WHy should he ? he is generating good money....

Porn is tough. It's always in demand but its always around every corner on the internet.

I wouldnt say its dead though.....its still product that is always in demand.

It's just trying to run a pay site is a waste of time in this day in age.

free sites (promotional redirect sites) are still good as long as its a niche.

I run one myself with a pretty unique spin on it (nothing revolutionary mind you but something I havent seen before with porn sites). went live with it a couple of weeks ago and already average about 100 uniques a day and its slowly growing....plus I market outside the US alot.

Overall porn sites are great to get your feet wet or as "in-between" projects (I have another site I'm working on that going to require some work so in the meantime....theres always porn)

Depends what "type" of adult you are looking to push traffic to really....

Cams are a hard sell.

Adult Dating is killer if you can target the traffic right.

pr0n is kinda hard - It's saturated and inundated with the huge companies and most of it's free anyhow. Unless you can setup a shitload of TGPs and get shit to convert - Good luck.

banner exchanges.... i used these and they work well for something thats free... i went from about 100 uniques to 1000 uniques in a week using 3 companies... then i went from 1000 to 2000 so stopped the banner exchanges to get more normal traffic and rested on 1.5k was good for free stuff

I've been contemplating this jump into the Adult industry for a few weeks now. And like previously mentioned, I've decided to stay away from cams, solo girls, tgps etc..

What I'm thinking about is a highly targeted, niche tube site. Make money just from advertisements. You can throw up some BLA or AAW, AFF, and become an affiliate for some of the big boys. You could potentially make some decent money. Some of the tube scripts out there even find videos for you, you don't even have to host them!

The thing with niche videos is that you need to find them yourself, and if you're smart, watermark them. Thats the hardest thing I believe....

I did ok selling adult cam. I set up a website for a particular hot model with a lot of pictures of the 'supposed' model. I provided an IM i set up with yahoo for those who wanted to chat. I put up a few profiles on some regular dating sites for this model. I made a shit load of friends in a short while. I pick conservative dating sites because the population tends to be much more naive than the adult dating sites. Plus the shock value makes your profile stand out a lot more. I chat with them a few minutes on IM and offer to do a cam show for them. Usually, if your intial presentation is erotic enough, they will ask for the cam show. The idea is to build a little trust in them first. Of course you are not charging them anything but you have to rent a site to do the cam show for them free of charge because you can't afford a cam. Most sugar daddies will understand that. Thats how i got my conversions. Make sure your landing page looks very much like the girl on your site if not the same. I targeted middle aged white men who were looking an encounter with an exotic young girl. I became her.
