Looking for a good cheap webhosting

Hi. I'm looking for a good webhosting. I tried hostwinds but I don't like it at all. After 20 hours they didn't update their nameservers and they did it only after I asked them. Finally after getting my domain to work, I uploaded my script and access was denied for db connections. After few tries my DB got blocked because of connections errors. This is outrageous. I should give up on them since I made the order - right after ordering I got an error and was flagged as fraud.

For 8 years I’ve been using the cheapest namecheap plan to host some of my landing pages and never had a problem with them. If there is a problem they have 24/7 support and will always fix it within a few minutes.
 
Namecheap is decent. You can also check out Marketplace.
 
I think you should broaden the range of your search.
Give hostforweb.com web host a try. The professionals are able to customize any services/features you may need.
 
rockhoster is a good option if you're on a budget, I just started with them recently, and had no probs with them at all, and I use a few hosts.

I use a wide variety of hosting providers but one that is pretty good, in my opinion, is IONOS. Granted their site can be a little confusing at times you can get by if you read the documentation. Oh, and make sure you label your contracts cause its confusing as hell when you can't figure out why you're being charged for something only to realize all of your services and products are named the same generic name.
 
We've been using Digital Ocean for a long time and their network, pricing, and API are great.
 
It sound a bit unlear regarding name servers. You said you asked them to do something with nameservers? Didn't they resolve or they were holding your domain name?

What type of script were you trying to upload? That might have been the issue.
 
Namecheap is good and affordable, They accept cryptocurrencies as well.

There's a lot of cheap platforms there but not all of them are reliable. You can try free web hosting platforms (Freehosting), and if you are on a low budget you can also explore "Nominalia", they are not expensive.

I experimented with hostwinds for a short time before switching over. I can recommend this host. My websites are hosted by @DamoHG. They're an excellent host with great support.
 
I have never had a problem with Namecheap, and I have used them for a some years.
 
I'd like to add that resources is the first thing you look at in a host, if it provides the space, bandwidth and add-on domains you need in case your site becomes successful.
How much resources does your website require? What is your budget monthly?
