Use USB harddrive for downloads and keep that hard drive in your pocket or hide somewhere. Whenever you are sitting on your system use this hard drive to save additional data or view existing data.

Even if they find your system you will not be in trouble.

I assume this is sarcasm, but anyway in case people take it seriously. If the cops request your data, Google will just send them a DVD of everything in your account(s). So, don't do this.

What you need is truecrypt Now, get TWO partitions or more for real security:)

But if you're doing something really evil and illegal and you don't know how to cover your tracks already you've left so many digital footprints if a 3letter agency wanted to get on it... there's no point. Keep it black hat but keep it legal!

Another option incase anyone doesn't want to use thermite is the truecrypt strategy.

you have a boot password, enter the right one, get access to all your stuff, enter the wrong one, get a legit copy of windows but with nothing on it, the rest of your data is encrypted and looks purely random when any analysis is done on it, so they can't prove anything is or isn't there.

Depending on your mobo firmware/bootloader you could probably rig it for biometric / smart card access too for that extra piece of mind!

A quick google will get you the software (free) and any information you need.
 
Tape a grenade to the base of the computer, attach a cord round the pin and the side of the case.

That's the only way, think how long it takes to zero a drive via software (about 5-10 hours by my last count).
If the Feds took your pc, they'd have the drive straight out, rendering your virus useless.

As for shooting your drive, no. Data has been recovered off of a drive that came out of a crashed shuttle, so if they want to get your data they'll get it.

any way, destruction is a last ditch, and just melt the hard drive
but there are other things u can do,
Photon Polarization is something i read about a while ago and its suposed to be an uncrackable encryption method
and there is 1 or 2 companies making an uncrackable software
Cryptography X.9 is one i heard about and there is another one that a bunch of BHW'er where talking about a few week ago
