Hey guys
My main business website got screwed back in October and disappeared from the rankings. I tried removing links, disavowing etc etc but nothing seems to have worked.
What's really annoying is that my google map/googe Places placement along with the reviews are not showing when you search for my service. Its been like that for a year.
So I am going to create a new site. Now I don't want to get rid of my old domain as its my company in the URL and its a really nice site with a lot of content that's taken me a long time to put together.
I want to leave the current website as it is, to be used for my offline marketing i.e. business cards, flyers, side of my van etc. And this new site will be built to rank high in google once again and bring in the new work. I used to be No1 for years.
I'm paying adworlds now but its not the same. Not the same volume of enquires and bloody expensive!
Now my question is. How do I get around submitting to citation site? I mean I don't want to remove my old sites details from the those citation sites. I wont be able to submit a new site with the same address. And I also want to submit my details again to Google Places. I'll need an address for this.
I have a few members of family that would be happy to allow me to use their address, they live in the same city. Is this the only way forward?
I really want to play it safe with this new site. no dodgy backlinks. Only citation site backlinks, frequent social media activity and updating my new site often with content. That's my plan anyway.
many thanks
