Hello!

Interesting insights may arise for everyone, read on

I have been looking for some time for a way to ensure local restaurants get reviews on Google.
I have tried using the 7878 method, however, I think it is not working as it should. I tested in a restaurant and out of 100 flyers delivered, 2 published the review.
The tito said "we did our best, now it's your turn" from a psychology point of view I thought the customer would feel at fault and scan the qr code.

Upon reflection and searching the net I came to the conclusion that to receive a review you have to offer input, something in return.

THE IDEA IS BORN.
a slogan on a flyer that says "leave your review and the coffee is free," the simple fact of having something in return incentivizes the customer to leave a positive review, not a negative one.

THE ISSUE.
I am going to sell this service including responding to reviews and creating google posts for a monthly fee, as a result I need to minimize the effort of the restaurateur, I am not sure it makes one happy to see one's waitress having to check what customers have left the review and it would also seem unprofessional.
In addition, the problem also arises that if a customer is recurring, they might post their review while deleting the previous one, so the number of reviews does not grow.

How can I solve this problem? Do you have any ideas?

This has been my main niche for many years, in my own experience, thanking the customer for leaving a review and making them see how important it is for a small business will increase your conversions.

It depends a lot on the restaurant, what type of restaurant it is, what area it is, etc, but if it is a well established restaurant in a community/area, constantly transmit how important a review is for you, in this case, use social media to share reviews from other people and thank them, upload photos of your customers and do your best to tag them in your photos on facebook or instagram, again, it all depends on the type of restaurant/customer.

Create interaction with your clients and you will see how the reviews start to increase, I never did anything actively to get reviews in exchange for a coffee or something like that, I'm not saying it's a bad idea, it just wasn't necessary for me as every day reviews came in and we thanked each and every one of them in a special way, even bad reviews can be a great opportunity to re convert your customer, be nice!

In my opinion, it is important to choose well the restaurant you are going to work with for this specific service you are proposing, why? because if the restaurant has 27 reviews and the average is 1.3, raising it to 5 stars organically is not a service you can offer, unless you can cook :)

I hope I have shed some light, regards!

having the same issue, the way I have been doing for the last couple of weeks is creating a group of people that can leave a review on demand, for example, I have a group (158 members so far (real human beings from different parts of the world with normal Gmail accounts)) they all know that once any one of the group share a link we all must go and leave a 5-star review, so far from 158 reviews I have noticed that googles publish 130+- that's a big jump on reviews for s single business in less than a week. so far it works

The easiest way is to offer good service and ask servers to tell customers to drop a review for us. Don't overcomplicate it. If the service and experience was great, they will drop a review.

i don't know if u are running such a "service" & how well it's going, BUT by doing so u are actually putting your clients at risk. "Leave a review and coffee Is free" means u are buying reviews. And that goes against Google's rules.
1) A sudden rise of reviews like that will ring a bell anyway. Even if u control the review-flow and its schedule. (Like by instructing customers on how and when to review). Easely detectable, especially if that business didn't have an "Active" review-flow till then.
2)G itself, or good game competitors or their SEOs or anyone who rtfm, could contact BigG support by email, attach a nice photo of your flier or social post about that coffee-review thing, add few txt, some extra proof and ask 4 a check. More often than never, manually & slowly G will check. Trust me. And then penalty comes. Trust me again.
While i understand this Is a bh forum, on the other hand i suggest u to come up with other creative ideas.
Said that, it's up to u.
Sure many players did and keep doing similar "plans" without a prob. How it's said: "So far so good".
Sure niche and geo do matter.
Sure that " enemy player" has to have time, Will, detective skills, and in general he has to be a Lil bit better than an avg seo guy.
Sure Murphy's law does exist.

Is this still working for you?
Seems too risky for those businesses to receive reviews from same people, specially from different parts of the world. What are the chances that restaurant in Ohio or whatever get people from X parts of the world to eat there, and next day same group of people reviews another place in another city?
Also from relatively static reviews to get at once 130+ reviews, it's a huge red flag.
I doubt that google can't recognize such patterns. As a result, if some consequences arise, they could easily remove ALL reviews (even legal ones) or even remove it from business pages.
