Hi,

I've been looking at incorporating as an LLC...

However, I need a legitimate mailing address. I can't use my home address (for personal reasons, nothing illegitimate)

My dad has told me of places where I can "rent a desk" in an office type building where I will get a mailing address at the building. In essence it's kind of like renting a building.

My business is all online so I don't need an actual building ATM.

Can anyone point me in the right direction. Hopefully you understand what I'm saying. If I need to explain more or if you have questions please post here or PM.

Thanks BHW,

You can get a P.O. Box address. I believe it's something like $30 a month for one.

I think you can also register a bank under it, and your corp.

:usa:

@ flow :: Can you link me to somewhere?
@Mp3Mage :: I don't think you can legally use a PO Box. Not 100% sure though.

I did attempt a quick Google and many other in depth Google's but was unsure of phrases/kw to use.... Also, I figured you might have a specific company in mind since you seemed knowledgeable in the area.

Really appreciate your help :)

Any thoughts on that?

That service looks pretty good IMO...

noob question...but whats the benefit of starting a LLC?

I'm starting to make a nice income from online, would it be wise to start an LLC for myself?

TIA

I visited the offices of
earthclassmail
in downtown San Francisco. For ten bucks a month they accept your mail which can be sent either as
John Doe
445 Market St
San Francisco.CA or to a PO Box at the same address.

For many the address is very desirable since it is downtown.

They scan your mail ENVELOPES and via a web interface you tell them
to discard junk mail, and scan the important stuff. You get about 50 scans a month included and afterwards have to pay an additional fee.

I am absolutely sold on their business model and will forward my mail to them pretty soon.

A bit more pricey but, they look like they might be some promising options (I'm bookmarking all shared links).

THREAD CLOSED - THANKS FOR ALL THAT HELPED :)

MODS: Please feel free to make this official closed as I can't.:lock1:
