Be carefull, as a consequence of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), most startups formed in the US need to file a report with FinCEN, a government bureau that helps to detect financial crimes. This report is called a Beneficial Ownership Information Report, or a BOIR.
So, most startups formed in the US now need to submit ownership information to FinCEN, a government bureau that helps detect financial crimes. This new requirement is a consequence of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), which went into effect in January 2024.

The penalties for failing to file by these deadlines can be severe. That's why we've made staying compliant as easy as possible. As you approach your deadline, we'll send you reminder emails and in-app notifications. We'll also remind you to submit an updated report if we detect that you've changed any of your information, like your startup's name, address, or beneficial owners.
It's worth noting that a recent court decision in Alabama found the Corporate Transparency Act unconstitutional. The ruling won't affect most startups, only members of the plaintiffs in that particular lawsuit

i'm just starting out so i have to send the report every year?

I know in Delaware LLC has no records of anything in the business register. You can send any details and they have no way to verify. This is something very strange. Looks like Delaware is for 100% anonymity that is why Tesla wanted to move to Delaware?

Yes, the state of Delaware is known for its discretion in disclosing information regarding owners of limited liability companies (LLCs). Generally speaking, Delaware does not require LLCs to publicly disclose information about their owners. This means that the names of the owners are not included in public records.

I think Oregon or one more state has same policy.
Interesting thing is if no records are in the records or published then how this is applicable "Beneficial Ownership Information Report, or a BOIR."
To open a bank account they have to declare the UB.
