I was dead for 14 billion years before i was born, and it didn't bother me one bit, so i have no fear of dieing.
It's a matrix............
There's another level of reality that most people are not aware of...
It's called pathological trance... As you've grown up, you created a model of beliefs that you assume is the world, but it is not...
man i have epiphanies like this all the time, you are like me, we both have huge fears of death. This is something im gonna have to look into getting counseling and shit on because this happens to me every few days, and im only 19. Maybe its because I don't want to die right now because i havent "lived" yet. Maybe it will change when i get older. Who knows. All i know is I like being on Earth right now and don't want to leave anytime soon.
Great, man. I actually live in an Eastern European country and yes, pensions here are really lowThe other week I was watching this documentry (randomly popped up on a TV actually while I was eating) and it was about poverty in Eastern European countries. Nonetheless, this lady in her 70s was crying to the camera because she gets $10 as pansion and doesn't know what to do each month... get food or get medicine...
Same here. Transhumanism FTW!I personally plan on living forever anyway, as soon as we reach The Singularity
Really try to wrap your mind around this:
What if you were never born? Everything you have interacted with would never have happened. Now, think deeper, what if the earth were never created? Nothing as we know it would have happened. Now, the big one, if you can seriously grasp this, it's scary...
Imagine existence never happening. There would not "be" just empty space, I mean, if there was never even "space".... There just never was anything, and never was nothing. Everything in your life that you find important doesn't matter anymore.
When you start thinking like that, then nothing really does matter... it almost feels like you wouldn't mind if the world ended right now.
There is an insight into what goes on inside my head.
