Livestreaming Cartoons

So I keep seeing these accounts livestreaming different cartoons, how do you monetize that? I don't understand how they can make money off that and how it can be worth the time to do it. If someone can help me understand this better it would be much appreciated.

I guess it's donations from the viewers

Prolly donations or adsense if they upload.

Also they are not wasting anytime actually they stream using vps

many use the ranking benefits that YouTube gives only to livestreams, so with a VPS and OBS software, they can stream offline content in an endless loop, and YouTube is actually doing the promotion for them
(suggestions, rank above any "offline video" for high volume kw etc.)

some have those livestream monetized with ad-sens, some only use it as a promotion of the channel that has other offline videos that get suggested to those who visit the livestream, and some use this method to build a subscriber base
that is a MUST on any channel
