Livable Alien Planet Finally Discovered

why do I get excited reading milton's post above?

So milton, what are the fastest speeds for (1) manned and (2) unmanned space crafts we currently have?

I'm guessing you missed all your SCIENCE classes.

No, I just believe government = power = not going to tell you shit.

Trust me, there have been UFO visiting, I got no proof, its a matter of believing. But if you really think no one visits us then go ahead and stay in a box. Government is all over the technology, it has been released but the truth is out there. Search youtube and you will come across hundreds of people who used to work for the government, military, etc tell you this.

The Truth is Out There.

Beam me up scotty !

I think there is a WSO for this for only 17$. Tells you how to design the vessel and everything. Comes with a money back guarantee.

There's no actual evidence that other livable planets, or black holes or wormholes exist, just theoretical models and astronomical data that are interpreted to presume some distant object "could be" a black hole. No holes, no plausible mechanism for either us or "them" transporting across the galaxy quickly. In light of the absence of evidence, the notion of extraterrestrial sentient life is as much a matter of faith as the view that valid UFOs are really fallen angels in disguise.

I remembered the game mytribe. :D

Send a team of professionals and start a life on new planet, though it would take atleast 2-3 generations before they arrive on that planet "goldilocks".

Their problems:

-build a ship that can travel to Goldilocks planet within 60-80 years.
-The ship should be capable of maintaining life inside within 60-80 years
-the team should consist of scientists, man and woman, animals, clergyman and the most important - teachers and professors.
-the team should be capable of reproduction inside the ship.

When they successfully land on the planet Goldilocks and assuming no other intelligent life forms there, they can start a new life, scientists and professors can build technology using the materials present in that planet (That would be very rich in materials), then maybe after 100 years, when their technology rise up, then Earth and Goldilocks can now communicate.

I would love to see this coming.

we need vehicles that travel at warp speed shown in Star Trek .. Beam me up Scotty

FOR THE RECORD!

A light year is defined as the distance that light travels in one Earth year. Light moves extremely fast: 300,000 km/s or 180,000 miles/second. In one second light can travel around Earth almost four times. Nothing travels faster, establishing light as the ultimate speed limit. In 31,536,000 seconds—one year—light will travel a distance of 9.46 trillion kilometers or 5.86 trillion miles, which is 240 million times around Earth. This distance equals one light year.

Because light travels so very fast, everything appears to happen instantly in our everyday experience. If we are watching the Baltimore Ravens kick a field goal, we assume that the ball is kicked right at the moment that we see it. In actuality we see the light that is being reflected from the ball, and it does take time for the light to travel from the ball to our eyes. If the distance from the ball to our eyes were 10 meters, the light reflecting off the ball would take only 300 millionths (.000003) of a second to reach our eyes, thus making it seem instantaneous.

Stars are millions and millions of kilometers away. To see a star, that star's light must travel across space to our eyes. If the star is 5 light years away, then the light we are seeing from that star took five years to travel to our eyes. It also means that what we see happening at that star is actually what happened five years ago, not what is happening at the star right now.

1 light year is 5.8 TRILLION MILES and the maximum speed of a NASA Space Shuttle is 17,500 miles per hour.

The fastest unmanned space craft traveled 157,000 mph. ..

Now if you traveled 5.8 trillion miles which is 1 light year it will take about 1 year ofcourse BUT it would seem as if no time at all had elapsed! So basically it would be like a time wrap machine. Instant.. Crazy..

Crazy Stuff..

Now how the heck can they see 20 light years away a planet almost 100 trillion miles away? Who knows ,,How the heck they know a planet is that far let alone life there

1. Imagine a planet with intelligent beings on it that is 20 light years away from Earth. These beings have an extremely powerful telescope and can actually make out details of what is happening on Earth. If they aim their telescope at the White House in Washington, DC, who would they find living there as the president and first lady?

2. Suppose that a child is born on Earth in the year 2000.You are on an imaginary planet that is 94.6 trillion kilometers away from Earth and looking through a very high-powered telescope and you witness this child's third birthday party. How old is that child on Earth at the time you are watching the child's third birthday party?

3. On another imaginary planet in the year 2000, someone is looking through a high-powered telescope aimed at Earth, and is observing America's Bicentennial celebration in Boston, Massachusetts. How many light-years away is the planet from Earth? How far away (in kilometers) is this planet?

ALL IN ALL THINK ABOUT THIS:

A PLANET THATS 20 LIGHT YEARS AWAY. IF WE LOOK THROUGH A TELESCOPE FROM EARTH TO THAT PLANET, WHERE ACTUALLY SEEING THEIR PAST ABOUT 5 YEARS BEHIND...CRAZY SHIT

It takes 1 light year to get to our sun.

The UFO technology exists that can travel at the speed of light. You just don't know about it because its kept at secret.

i seriously doubt that, not the fact they are hiding stuff but the fact that we have the technology to travel in light year speeds..Not gonna happen anytime soon.

Light travels at 180,000 miles every second and 1 light year is 6 trillion miles. So in 1 year light travels 6 trillion miles.

Fastest unmanned Space craft can travel 157,000 miles per hour not seconds like light.

So what your saying is they have a UFO that can travel 60 times faster then 157,000 miles a hour..NOT lol

So what your saying is they have a craft that will travel 9,420,000 miles per second..lol

157,000mph times 60 seconds in hour= 9,420,000 miles per second

I dont think so

The Star Trek episode "The Squire of Gothos" dealt with this issue. Trelaine was looking at Earth thru a telescope and thought the people there were living in Victorian times.

So he recreated a world (based on inaccurate data) that was over a thousand years off.

Delayed sight? So our scientists gazing at the stars are actually delayed? How about a coming of an asteroid or a comet?

Only 20 light years? :) If we use our best technology we can be there in only 300 years :D It's still to big distance for us
