Linkwheels - Post Your Successes and Failures Here!

Just as a side note, as I work through Angela's Backlink backets each month, I pull out the sites that allow you to have a blog of some type and incorporate them into a link-wheel.

The concept is the same, it's just a different source for the sites.

There's a WSO that used to be available here (it got pulled down) buy a guy named Steve called Backlink Goldmine.

That ebook has a list of 300 of these styles sites that can be plugged into a link wheel.

You have to BUY that ebook to get on his list in order to be able to BUY the new version 4.0 that has another 400 of these social media/integrated blog sites.

He also has a friend that has automation scripts to speed up the creation of accounts.

Last week I created 300 twice. (two niches, one run each)

Today I created another 400.

Each of these accounts gives you access to a blog and a blog roll. Plus you can upload images and attach ******** backlinks in the image description.

They are all sitting now and "seasoning" so I can start adding links under the radar and not get the accounts banned.

I highly suggest getting ahold of that resource.

Just created my first linkwheel yesterday. It's to promote a french site, so I only used French free blogs sites. I just googled for "blog gratuit", and took the highers pageranks.

I was quite impressed that one of the properties showed in google no more that 1 hour after I created it.

And this morning, 4 on the 7 are indexed.

What I did :

1/ Created the properties
2/ Pinged it with Pingoat
3/ Submit the RSS using RSS Submit

@ sqhunter, not every site has RSS feeds, I dont know for the ones you mentionned, but for the ones I used yesterday, only 4 out of 7 had RSS feeds.

Now I shoud promote the new pages..

A question : When you promote you new web properties, do you link on the domain (hxxp://mykewword.wordpress.com), or the deep page when it's possible (hxxp://mykeyword.wordpress.com/2009/08/03/hello-world) ? Both maybe ?

Small update :

2/3 days ago, 5 out of 7 of the sites were indexed, so I decided to boost them a bit using onlywire to index them. Guess what, now google dexinded 4 sites on the 5. They re not present in google anymore using site:mydomain.com.

Do you think it's because I used the same user to bookmark each site ? Or it's the content that wasnt unique enough (I rewirited it but I could have done better) ?

Will those show again in google ?

I wouldn't worry about it. This happens a lot with my properties. In 90% of cases, they are back within a week.

I am a true believer in the power of linkwheels... I have had extreem personal success in linkwheels: 1st page on a new domain on a keyword with 194,000,000 results.

My main focus with link wheels and my huge list of web 2.0 properties is creating individual accounts with good filler content before you add your "linkwheel" article.

The problem that people run into is that they are lazy and dont like to do the donkey work... I do.

Hum well said I think you are right it might look a lot less spammy to Google

Today I make my first LinkWheel only to try :) I have 11 Web 2.0 properties with auto rewrited content :) I`ll share the results after 3-4 days.

Some of my wheels have come to fruition in a week or less, but this is a minority case. Most take 2-3 weeks to get into full swing, so don't be disappointed if your properties are slow to be indexed. This is normal.

I have created 15 linkwheels with 4 web 2.0 properties around 4 days ago, I have bookmarked and submitted to rss and pinged them all
Lets see what happens

Which software do you use for RSS submission and ping? We are using incansoft's products but i think there are many better ones

I'm using RSS Submit

Code:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/member-downloads/100995-get-rss-submit-v2-56-latest-clean.html

For ping I use

Code:
http://pingoat.com/

Is there any mass url ping program or site? It`s hard to submit 20-30 different URLs manually...

Please delete this post. I don`t know what`s happened... :(

Hi everyone, I have a question about the process of creating linkwheel for a new site.

Would it be a problem if using senuke through the whole process, create a linkwheel then ping the rss feeds and mass bookmark the wheel, and even submit the article to bunches of directories in very short amount of time like, a day?

I'm wondering if doing this in a super fast manner will get the new site penalized or not..

Chances are very likely.. it might..lol oops sorry..
One day outta thin-air supersensations are always flagged as suspicious.
They rank fast and plummet unless backed up by hundreds of other network members..

Although.. If the numbers are minor, say 10 spots at a time during the course of the day.. say for each set [SBM's RSS' Articles, Pings, and don't freakin forget to ping the bookmarks, or deeplinks as well]

Ya might have a shot.. personally mass campaigns for longevity take 24-72 hrs just to kick it off right. Then maintenance for about a month then lighten the load.. But we're in the blackhat area, not the white hat seo so..

If you're doing a "burn em out" site campaign, whaddya care?
blitz the damn networks.. and say goodbye..
Aggregate everything... have your day or 2 of love&rockets and start something new..

At this stage of the game.. Linkwheels are becoming more and more WhiteHat.. If one looks on wikipedia for the link stuff for google.. we're basically recreating what they ask for artificially.

Hmm... Someones gonna retort to this, I can just feel it already...

all my small linkwheels destroyed my search rankings... i dont understand how people are so satisfied with it

Good advices, well I think I should slow down the process...

but I also want to know how others schedule to create their linkwheels... such as how many links they build for the linkwheel properties and the hub everyday?

The sheer number of the linkwheels I have to maintain ensures that I can only afford the time to build 1 or 2 links a day to each. This has presented me with no problems.

all my small linkwheels destroyed my search rankings... i dont understand how people are so satisfied with it

Doczoidberg,

1) Linkwheels can help the central hub rank better but this is not guaranteed. Their purpose, for me at least, is to get a front page presence themselves.

2) Whether or not a linkwheel will work depends entirely on your niche. Some are easy some are hard - and contrary to what a lot of people will tell you - there is no way of knowing beforehand, except maybe, seeing that there are a lot of web 2.0 properties on page 1 already, which you'll be able to knock off with ease.

So run by me the reason why I'm giving the outer spokes a link to each other. My main objective is to get links to my money site. Why not just keep doing that? Am I trying to obscure my linking intentions with Google? Wouldn't it be obvious if a human looked at incoming links to my money site that I have a link wheel?

By giving a link to my outer Hubpage from my outer Squidoo, I'm giving the Hubpage THAT much legitimacy or link juice? If so, why are we stopping at only 1 link?

The wheel is mainly about legitimacy. If a site has relevant links coming in, it's more likely to rank.

A human will not look at your link profile unless you're on the front page for an extremely expensive and competitive keyword that google needs to manually review to control the spam.

If you don't want to get web 2.0 sites to dominate - just your main site - then maybe a linkwheel isn't for you. You might want to try creating relevant satellite web 2.0 properties, and have many links on those to your money site (don't interlink them). Increase the power of the web 2.0 properties by spamming them. This protects your money site.

hi,
i tried linkwheel once with 6 properties and failedto get them indexed.
my content was spinned

I tried it for a new blogger blog(main site)..

my properties including my blog were not able to get indexed.

i created another blog with few articles and it got indexed faster..

my questions
1) how many post you have in one blog/property [i had only one]

2) and NOW how do you create gmail accounts?blogger accounts? it asks for phone number? or do you create another blog in your existing google account?

because i suppose another post in same blog wont work because we are targeting keywords for our blog.

and creating backlinks from blog commenting is better than link wheel?

or link wheel is better?

instead of 12 properties in a link wheel??

we can go for 100(just an example for comparison otherwise it can go in 100's) keyword links from blog comments what wld u prefer... if time is same...
