What type of linkwheel do you use?
I currently use this method:

Squidoo

/ \
$ SupportPage1

/ \
$ SupportPage2

/ \
$ SupportPage3
....
Do you think that is a closed type of linkwheel more effective?

Closed Link Wheels are dead. Now they need to be open.

From everything I have read, search engines can now see the circular nature of the link juice flowing. It leaves a footprint. Thus when you create a link wheel, it has to be open, so that it is in more of a pyramid scheme.

Well, I can direct you to two websites :) you will have to type the keywords I give you into google, because I don't have enough posts to post links :)

Put these two keywords into google and read up on their methods;

Link Pushing

Niche Dog

Each has different examples of link wheels which have been highly recommended :)

Someone else recommended it on another forum I visit. It seems powerful in theory. I built the first part of it. I think it has helped my SERPs a little. Its gone from #52 to #47 (to be fair I had killed my rankings with xrumer blasts) But really, you need to finish it. If you finished it I imagine it'd be pretty powerful.

The problem is some of the sites he recommends are literally dead, so you'll have to find your own substitutes. It also takes a crapload of time. The benefit with link pushing at least is you can buy it automated. Of course, niche dog recommends that all of your content be 100% original, which I really like about it :)

Yeah that's true, he definitely said no crappy content, it would be time consuming alright, I'd say SeNuke X would help tremendously especially the way you can schedule over a few days as he says. I might give it a go on one of my new sites.

ok, I have a question, if I must. So the parts of this are made from what?

10 wordpress blogs, pointing to 5 blogger blogs, pointing to your site? So isn't that just 5 backlinks that are totally useless PR0, just links?
