Hello

I'm a bit disappointed about link wheels.
It seemed that it was a great way of promotion with a huge interaction between social websites and "classical" websites or blogs. The first round linking to promote webpages of the targeted website.

And now, i read everywhere this technique has been identified by Google, and that's why it is not as effective than before.

What's the state of the art now ? And what's the next technic ?

Loran

ps : I see variant like blogwheel and complex linkwheel. Any idea it it's efficient ?

I've had mixed results with linkwheel's, it works well for low competition niches but not so well for high competition niches..

you really need to do a mixture of link building techniques to get the best results, focusing on just one isn't going to get you anywhere..

Is there any diagram that still work ? (probably complex ones).
I see on BHW you can buy some, and there's a lot of proposals, but don't know if it's serious, and it it's not blacklisted by Google.

Here is a diagram i took from a post (cf. attached picture below)

It's not anymore a "classical" linkwheel, but i'm wondering if it works.

EDIT : There is a impresive list of diagrams on Google Images with the terms : diagram linkwheel

Linkwheel still works but you need to create open ended ( not too much interlinked
each other spokes wheel). Also when you make a webpage or blog on web 2.0 sites
you make min. 2 or 3 post to each, so that it will effective & looks natural to Google.
And make each post links backing of other type of backlinks like RSS,
Social bookmarks etc. in other words backlink to backlink.

Nice diagram. Is there too many social properties ?
Does someone here at BHW has experienced it (or is selling services with this) ?

Lots of these types of services with reviews in the BST section.
