Is it safe to use linktree redirect to smartlink non adult? Or will using linktree ban my tiktok account?

Should I better buy a domain and redirect to my smartlink?

I am trying to add 2fa to my tiktok account but it wont let.me for security reasons. I havent added a phone number yet...am i shadow banned or something?

If my.smartlink after some redirect lands in sport betting registration form. Will i get banned from.this?

Linktree redirecting to a non-adult smartlink is safe. TikTok does not ban accounts just for using Linktree.
However, if the final link leads to sports betting registration, there is risk of restriction or ban.
Using your own domain with a clean pre-landing is safer and more stable.
Not being able to enable 2FA is because no phone number is added yet, not a shadow ban.

Using Linktree to redirect to a smartlink is generally safe, but TikTok may flag you if the final landing page leads to gambling/sports betting—especially via redirects.

TikTok usually flags the end destination, not the redirect tool.
Gambling registration pages can trigger restrictions.

Honestly, for tiktok best right now is to have individual domains with re-directing to native browser (not in-app browser).

About being shadowbanned, difficult to tell, usually setting change limitations happened when i had bad set-up/ip's as if it's a rate limit.

From my understanding:

Linktree → smartlink (non-adult) is usually fine, but TikTok reviews the final landing page. If the smartlink eventually redirects to something restricted, that’s what matters — not Linktree itself.
If your smartlink ends on a sports betting registration page, that’s high risk. Even indirect redirects to gambling can get your account flagged or banned. TikTok checks final URLs.
Buying your own domain looks more professional, but it won’t protect you if the final offer violates policy.
2FA issue is likely a security limitation, not a shadowban. Usually you need to add a phone number first before enabling it.

For me, the main rule is simple: if the final page is gambling/betting, it’s risky on TikTok — even through redirects.
