Links Quality vs Quantity

Hello,

This is my first post in this forum so don't judge me a lot lol.

I started forex website adsense + affiliate with small keyword (for start) ~3k searches month so now I thinking to get in first page with this keyword.

I reading a lot here how you guys getting backlinks, but spamming and using software and having my website links with other websites sh1t links like (v1ruses, vi1agra) ant all kind of sh1t not looks very professional and google friendly for me.

So my question is : Is it better to have 100 random spamm backlinks or 10 high quality bought backlinks inside websites and articles.

What do you think ?

Also do nofollow links have any value anyway ?

I wouldn't buy links but I would use articles and generate links that way. No follow links have some merit... for instance if you had a link on Wikipedia it is no follow but it someone is reading about forex there and you have a link there, a possibility exists that you would get direct traffic from that link.

Also, you want your links to be random... all not coming from the same genre so mix it up with forum postings, articles, etc.

Random chaotic links in a non pattern will serve you well.

Quality matters lot ,quantity matters where quality is there,hope it helps you...

Spamming does not help if you are in for a long time game.
It may give you some result in the very short term but the risks are too high to negate.
If you really own your site i would recommend you go for quality back links.
Articles are also a very good idea, may be a blog or two might help as well

And of cource buying some links for a new site does help its rankings.. for the targeted key words.
